Trump: Folie à Deux (US Politics Thread)
Another non-story doing the rounds. Pic of Trump kissing a 28 year old on the lips in 2018. No proof he did anything else but if he did, both were adults.

John's 1980 charts
Loved them and my fave song John was A Rose Has To Die. A family group too. Not keen on Wanted but was their biggest hit..a UK No.3. The Chosen Few was good too.

My faves are Because You Loved Me and It's All Coming Back To Me Now. Never bought anything by her except her first hits collection, All The Way - A Decade Of Song.

Well they can't cut NHS spending and have increased it. Can't cut education and Labour MP's won't let them cut benefits.

Miscellaneous singles chart records that will NEVER be broken?
Quote:Most weeks at #2 without going to #1 We've had a few close calls recently (Murder On The Dancefloor and APT) however nothing has yet beaten Frank Chacksfield's Terry's Theme From Limelight's 8 weeks from all the way back in 1953. I Swear - by All 4 One had 7 weeks at No.2 behind Love Is All Around in 1994. The Smurf Song had 6 weeks at No.2 behind You're The One That I Want in 1978.

iTunes Weekly Thread w/c 14th November 2025
Bohemian Rhapsody at 167 now on the 50th anniversary of it's first release this week in 1975. Entered at 9 then went up to No.1 where it stayed for 9 weeks. Christmas No.1 again after Freddie's death in 1991. Executive producer Doreen Davis at Radio 1 refused to playlist it saying it was too long and wouldn't be a hit. Kenny Everett played it several times on his Capital Radio show on the same day and their phones were jammed with people wanting to buy it. Radio 1 changed their minds.

john's 1975 charts
I have the CD of Their GH -1971-1975 which doesn't goes as far as Hotel California but is a great album and the US best selling album of all time, 29 million sold now. Very close in sales there to Thriller though, take turns yearly it seems at top spot. One Of These Nights is good. Take It Easy gets a lot of airplay here now, so I was reading recently but not a UK single. They were far more successful in the US than Europe.

XMAS ● Amazon Music Original
Of course they will but would be great if she does it. Xmas chart announced Fri.19th Dec but another big sales week after for the Boxing Day chart. She could do it that week instead.

Christmas #1 Race 2025 (now includes poll)
Yes it really would be amazing for her and a change from Wham. If she did the double too.... Just checked and she's had 11 No.2's

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1991
I love Dear Jessie, very catchy, like a little nursery rhyme.

john's 1975 charts
Lyin' Eyes only reached 22 on the BBC chart. Criminal. Should have been a Top 5 hit. I love it and my favourite Eagles song closely followed by Hotel California and New Kid In Town.

Think it's between Kylie and Wham this year tbh though I'd love Brenda Lee to get it.

'I'm Breathless' • album discussion
This album didn't reach No.1, peaking at 2. I love it, great album. As someone above said, Vogue felt out of place here.

Angel ● 40 years on
One of my faves from my favourite album of hers still.

What should have been 4th single from 'Music'?
Amazing.

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1991
IMO the album version was far better than the awful single release, even thought it did hit No.1 for a week.

"Singles" discographies rankings (Current rate : New Seekers)
My favourite too. No.1 in early '74.
