Only Twiggy song I know and am a huge 70's fan, is Here I Go Again which was a UK hit.

You Bet!
There were some great challenges in the original series. A young lad who could identify any UK released Beatles track with just 4 seconds music. Thought the board games was brilliant. How did they do that? Hadn't heard of any of those. Never knew there were so many. Cactus challenge was mad but good all the same. Despite what DS say I really enjoyed it. Something different for the weekend and hope it gets a full series. Yes ITV use the same presenters. Come on, give some others a chance.

Communion aka Alice Sweet Alice. 1976.
Anyone heard of this 70's slasher film? Saw it in the cinema. In the UK it was Communion but in the US it was Alice, Sweet Alice. A killer is stalking girls taking their First Communion. Never seen it on TV and it's virtually unknown but stars Brooke Shields in her debut movie. Full film, uninterrupted, is on Youtube. It's gory and scary....

You Bet!
Did anyone watch this and what did you think? Getting a real slating on DS but I enjoyed it. Good stuff. Another on Sat. 21st before they decide whether to make a full series next year. I remember the first run from 88-97 very well and it was very popular. Bruce Forsyth then Mathew Kelly presenting. Doesn't need two presenters.

Looks like he's started his State visits early. In Paris today for a meeting at the Elysee Palace with Macron and Zelensky. Then on to the re-opening of Notre Dame Cathedral where he'll also have a short meeting with Prince William.

Trump: Folie à Deux (US Politics Thread)
From BBC News, A federal judge has dismissed a major case against Donald Trump that alleged he illegally sought to overturn the 2020 election. Jack Smith, the special prosecutor who brought the criminal case against Trump, had asked to have the charges dropped, citing a Justice Department policy that bans the prosecution of a sitting president. Judge Tanya Chutkan dismissed the case "without prejudice", meaning the charges could be refiled after Trump finishes his second term. Smith has also asked to have his case charging Trump with improperly storing classified documents dismissed. Trump had pleaded not guilty in both cases. “It has long been the position of the Department of Justice that the United States Constitution forbids the federal indictment and subsequent criminal prosecution of a sitting President,” Smith wrote in a filing in the election case. “This outcome is not based on the merits or strength of the case against the defendant,” Smith added in the six-page filing. After leaving office, Trump crossed into unprecedented legal territory for a former president, becoming the first to face a criminal trial and later conviction, in a case tied to a payment made to adult-film actress Stormy Daniels. At the beginning of the year, he faced nearly 100 criminal charges connected to the two federal cases and others. Then, the Supreme Court ruled this summer that he could not be prosecuted for "official acts" taken as president, and Trump went on to win the election a few months later. Now almost all those charges have been dropped, with a Georgia state prosecution currently on pause.

Trump: Folie à Deux (US Politics Thread)
If Trump tries to get rid of the 22nd Amendment to seek a third term , hope he realises that could let Obama stand too to challenge him and probably win. A lot of people on the US forums doubt that he'll complete his new term and Vance will be President before 2028.

Iraq lowers age of consent for girls to 9
Iran is lowering the age of consent for girls to 9 so they'll be able to be forced in to marriage at 9 years old. :o Doubt many can even bear children so young. Absolutely awful.
