I ordered Bjork - Declare Independence from HMV a few days ago but it hasn't come yet. :(

 

 

Don't worry. Did you have an email saying "it's on it's way?" Despite them saying 2 to 5 days it takes longer than that. It's about a week. Well my Amy Macdonald took 9 days, last Thursday to yesterday.

STILL waiting for the Amy MacDonald album from HMV.Com and it was posted a week ago they say. :angry: Take ages to arrive from there, compared to when you order from Amazon and Play. :(

 

 

Finally got it and great album.

 

I don't - albums are more expensive than singles. Think the levels are fine.

 

 

I agree. Think they're just right as they are now. Albums sell a lot more.

But good to see some new track titles

 

 

I prefer shorter albums rather than 70 odd minute studio albums.

In Between Dreams is good but haven't heard anything else by him.

White Ladder is a brilliant album and the only one of his that I had until recently. Bought Life In Slow Motion though and love it.

Voted Dido though I do like Annie's earlier stuff.

As Thriller is my fave album of all time I'll vote for it later.

This is just terrible. All the remixed tracks are but this is the worst.

I'm a big Jacko fan and have all his albums. Thriller is my favourite and in fact my fave album of all time. Listened to the new remix tracks on Youtube and not keen at all.

For anyone who doesn't know:

Wish Play would get their info correct first then.

Have any of you even heard "Bedtime Stories"? Its quite an Rnb influenced album tbh so its hardly like she is just coming out of the blue with it all.

 

Granted she is jumping on the bandwagon a little bit, but she is Madonna for crying out louudddddd. She is/always will be bigger than Timbaland + Timberlake, so they should really appreciate the fact she wants to work with them! :lol:

 

Kudos to her i say. At least she doesnt stick to the same formula with each album, every single one is different.

 

Anyway flops i think will be: Jennifer Lopez, Ashlee Simpson, The Feeling and The Kooks.

 

 

 

I think Madonna's new album will sell a million at least. Agree about Jennifer and Ashlee and Kooks to some extent but think The Feeling's second album will be big. Not as big as their first though.

Can't see a thread on this but it's listed by Play.com as being out on 28th February and titled Let's Swing Again. I loved Swing When You're Winning, still do in fact. Anyone know if the Play details are correct and any track rumours yet?

My uncle and auntie couldn't have kids so adopted a boy inthe 1960's who's now in his 40's. He'd been abused at age three and horribly burned with cigarettes on his bottom and still has the scars. :angry: My daughter's 12 and one of her best friends is adopted. She's just been told by her parents and is fine about it.

I think the two biggest sellers of the year will be Dido and Coldplay but not sure in which order. The Feeling will sell much better than Kooks I think. According to Play.Com Robbie releases Let's Swing Again on Feb 28th. Not sure if that'll be as huge as his first Swing album.

I've ordered Amy MacDonald for £4.99 from HMV.com and think she'll shoot back in to the top 10 but not No.1.

I have Elvis' Christmas Peace CD. Great stuff.

I really really don't understand the big deal with the Pogues song at all :( It's really not that good imo, and I don't get why everyone loves it so much :blink:

 

It actually ranks about mid-table for me Christmas song wise. It's a drunk with bad teeth shouting at a woman who is only famous now for having died. Still, I'd prefer it at Xmas #1 than Leon.

 

 

 

I hate it and always have and just can't see the appeal of it.
