Christmas #1 Race 2025 (now includes poll)
I see Abba are releasing the great Happy New Year as a vinyl single on 6th Dec but only 4,500 so doubt it'll do much. Does it do many streams?

The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1991
Brilliant song.

The Official Labour Calmer Steering Thread (mk III)
Rumours of 1p on basic rate of tax now and an overhaul of the Council Tax system. A Band G house may go up 2 bands, almost doubling their payments but these are million pound plus houses. No valuations have been done since '91. Time for every house to be valued again but it would cost too much they think.

Now That's What I Call Music!
Am seeing very mixed reviews for the album. Some say best thing since sliced bread but some say it's awful with bad production too.

Jester’s rank of 1997 number 1s
Rachel was 3 and I spent ages one cold morning going to Hamleys for when they opened at 9 to get the last plush toy. Got the first 3 by queuing up before 9 at Woolworths.

The Reform Gammons and Hot Air Ltd thread
I see Reform had a small rally in my home town of Barnsley yesterday. No Farage as he probably chickened out due to what happened last time. Was during the '24 election campaign and he arrived in his bus and it got stormed and attacked by protestors and police just managed to protect him and get him away fast.

Trump: Folie à Deux (US Politics Thread)
Agree with you Iz. No way will she get the Nomination in '28 but she may stand. They'd be fools to go with her though. A lot on the US political forums that I frequent, think the first female President, if there is ever one, will be Republican anyway. Far too early to say who the '28 nominees will be as you say. Think VP Vance will most likely be the Rep. one unless a Trump son challenges him for it.

Trump: Folie à Deux (US Politics Thread)
Don't know where else to put this put Kamala Harris said in a BBC interview the other day that she firmly believes she'll be President one day and may stand in 2028. She is sure there'll be a female President one day.

I love it. Saw a documentary on BBC3 about Diddy last week and it's not played much at all these days.

john's 1975 charts
I'll never forgive K-tel for cutting a whole verse from Seasons In The Sun on a compilation John. Sounds was very thin too due to 20 tracks per side. Bought quite a few though.

john's 1975 charts
Googled the lyrics of Island Girl John and see why it won't be played now. Cher also did Love Hurts of course.

john's 1975 charts
Hi John. Chirp Chirpy Cheep Cheep brings back memories of it being No.1 in the summer of '71 and us singing it on the coach going on school summer residential trip. Island Girl has always been one of my favourite Elon tracks but was often left off GH collections.

Strictly Come Dancing • Series 23
Me too and one of the bookies faves. Zoe Ball with him. Rylan have to give up his Sat, afternoon Radio 2 show but is hardly there for that anyway. Zoe hers too. Scott Mills mentioned with a female. Wouldn't he be greedy though with already having the R2 breakfast show and for less than a year. Spread the jobs more widely.

Can Reform win the next election?
What will the Tories do if they offer to have a pact with Reform for next election as is rumoured now but Farage insists he 'd be PM?
-

Can't see Tory MP's taking him down to last two to go to membership.
