Someone on Mumsnet says she's been told by someone where she had it done that it was a prolapse, where the womb drops down. A serious operation then.

OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
The Exit poll will be interesting this time. As usual I'll be staying up all night to watch the top Tories fall. Wonder if Sunak and Coffey will go. Both have big majorities. The polls indicating them getting less than 50 seats are hilarious as polls tend to tighten during a campaign. They should keep 100 seats at least which would still be disastrous going from a majority of 80 odd. People on on other forums saying Sunak will be replaced if the May locals are bad. Can't see it. Too late now. He'd just trigger the election if they launched a leadership contest. Election can't be Oct as HM The King's out of the country most of the month, if his health bears up. Australia and HOG meeting. Didn't Ress Mogg let slip that it'll most likely be Nov. 14th.

2024 United States Presidential Election Thread
I read on a US forum that it's all down to this. Many Republicans are loyal but don't want Trump. If they can hold their noses and still vote for him then he wins. If not and a lot abstain then Joe wins.

Who killed Liz Barraza, 29, five years ago in Tomball,Texas?
Another US murder captured on video. Liz was outside her home setting up a yard sale in Tomball, Texas when a truck pulled up and someone, probably a woman, in a long dress or flowing robe approaches her, shows her either a picture or note and shoots her 5 times with what police think was a revolver so no casings left. She died next day under heavy armed police guard in hospital. The number plates can't be seen clearly but would probably be false or stolen anyway. It was 6.55am Friday 31st Jan. 2019 and her husband Sergio had just 5 minutes before left in his van for work. Usually she'd leave just after him but had taken a day off to hold the sale. Timing seems very convenient. Did the killer know about the sale or was it co-incidence? Sergio probably even passed the truck. Did he arrange it? Was it a hit? Statistically the partner is often responsible . Police haven't officially cleared him so he can't collect a half million dollar life insurance policy. After 5 years cops seem no nearer to arresting anyone and the FBI are involved too. Neither were cheating they say. No evidence of a hit being arranged. All other family friends and members check out. A very baffling case. Both were in to Star Wars cosplay in the 51st Legions and went to meeting, charity events etc. Had she upset someone or had some kinds of argument there? It's very competitive with members all trying to have the best costumes and accesories. They were due to fly to Florida on the Sunday to celebrate their fifth anniversary. He remarried a year later but police say he didn't know her at the time of the murder and are certain of that. Most posters on Websleuths and Reddit, Youtube etc think he had something to do with it. Strangely, before they moved in to that house, their 3rd floor flat was burgled but nothing taken. Was as if he was looking for something. Police are flummoxed why someone chose theirs instead of a ground floor easier access flat. Also a shot was fired through the window where she worked in the months before. Were these connected? Was it intended for her?

OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
They made a big mistake getting rid of Boris Don't think he'd have won but he wouldn't have lost by as much as Sunak will. Sunak has no personality, no charisma at all.

9pm ITV1. Trump. Can he really win again? "As Trump enters what he calls his 'final battle', ahead in polls and betting, can he really win the Presidency again?" Robert Moore reports. This is quite a good read. https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/5050/trump...ntial-election/

Political predictions for 2024
Labour win the election with a majority even bigger than 1997 and Britain gets it's first female Chancellor. Kemi Badenoch becomes Tory leader after an all female party run off with Suella. Trump won't be jailed as the charges against him are all nonsense anyway and they'd never jail a former President. Biden beats Trump again and will hand over to Harris early in 2027. You know I'm a huge Trump fan but just don't see him winning again.

Row brewing over new horror film.
Big row brewing over the BBFC decision today to make the new horror film Five Nights At Freddys a 15 certificate in the UK. This will be strictly enforced by cinemas with spot checks also made by Councils. Cinemas allowing under 15's in could lose their license to show films to the public. Based on a popular video game which parents say is loved by many kids under 15 who have been looking forward to seeing the film, it focusses on an abandoned pizza diner/fun house with animatronic kids figures where a paedophile took kidnapped kids and they were never seen again. No trace of them were found when police raided it but it was closed down but the figures were left. Now a guy answers an ad for a night security guard....the fun is about to begin. :o The makers were hoping for a UK 12A cert but other critics say it's unsuitable for kids due to the paedophile theme and constant menace and should be an 18. Some local councils may yet ban the film.

Girl,15, murdered in Croydon after refusing to take lad back
Words fail me. Bring back hanging. Killed after getting off the bus this morning. First reports said it was on bus but it wasn't. Witnesses say he pleaded with her to take him back after she finished with him on Monday. He's 17. Had a bunch of flowers for her AND A MACHETE. Everyone ran whilst the bus driver and a woman tried in vain to save her. :(

Some eminent legal people actually think her conviction was unsafe as it was all based on circumstantial evidence.
