Well I for one, am VERY happy that Wet Wet Wet's new single, "Weightless" came straight in at No. 10, on today 10h Feb. Same number as a former album title, (10) by Scotland's biggest EVER band. WETdone boys :dance:

Nope, even with downloads being the norm now, I honestly can NEVER see Bryan Adams or indeed Wet Wet Wet's sensational UK chart records EVER being broken. Anyone wanna bet me a gold disc on it? :blink: :D

Thank you for that info 'Shameless'. but like a previous poster 'Slowdown'. I honestly believe it's gonna struggle, as it's NOT up to Kylie's (usually) high standard.

Glad to see that The Wets are still top 10, still think this single will do a LOT better than their last one. But as for Kylie's "WOW" sorry, but I honestly think it's her worst EVER track in 20 years in the business..Her current chart position seems to prove it.

Relatively speaking, I gotta agree with you ManicKang. The Wets last single, "Too Many People", (released last Nov.) came in at 46..without a bullet. LOL..and then rocketed straight back out again, the following week. I'm pretty sure, this new one is gonna do a hellova lot better.

Thank you for the welcome Suggy. If we all liked the same tastes in music, the world would be a VERY boring place. Dontcha think? But sorry I gotta disagree with your words, "in their day". The Wets have just played to over 70,000 people in the UK last December (2007), and were the ONLY Live band to play ANYwhere in Scotland on New Years Eve 2006 going into 2007, (45,000 people at Aberdeen). They also sold 18,000 tickets for a gig at Newmarket racecourse, on 17th. August last year. Not bad for a band that has had their day. Is it?

I'm a newbie to this fine site, and I'm quite sad to see that Wet Wet Wet's new single "Weightless" seemingly has fallen from No. 4 to "between 6 & 10", in the space of one day. Can't you give the boys a wee chance? They have constantly, for the last 20 years or so, given the British, (& European) public what they want.. White, blue eyed soul with a hint of jazz, country and now rock thrown in for good measure. MORE power to The Wets, I say
