Love To Rate You- The Erasure UK Singles Rate
Voulez Vous is my second fave of the ABBA tracks but it's quite a long way behind my favourite

90s Top 10 Sales- Week By Week- 1996
Pet Shop Boys my favourite of the new entries this time, albeit it's not a track I'm particularly huge on.

Original vs. Remix
 I actually do though so I’m still leaving it.
-
Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat
Only 56 left now so it’s definitely not lasting much longer

I think the best compliment I can give this is that I've listened 3 times today and it has felt more like a normal album than a remix album, it really feels like the featured acts are being allowed to completely remodel everything rather than just be features. I love how confident it is to let others loose on your songs like this and let them put their own twist on them, but also be prepared to work with them to create their take on it. Faves for me so far are I might say something stupid, Talk talk (grown on me lots today), Rewind, So I, Apple, Mean girls and I think about it all the time

Radio 2 Best British Group poll.
OMG the results are like a night being soundtracked by a 60 year old straight white man who has spent the past 40 years unhappily married and regretting all of his life choices And Girls Aloud.

Sympathy is a knife featuring Ariana Grande
I don't like this as much as the original but I do still like it, it's a decent enough version of the track and it does feel like it could be pretty successful for them

Heavenly Action isn't great tbh, and agree the video doesn't help. The song is okay but definitely the weakest of the early material.

The Best Song Contest In The World... Ever! Part VII
I’ll definitely enter over the weekend ^_^

Love To Rate You- The Erasure UK Singles Rate
I Could Fall in Love With You That era was the last one I paid a lot of attention to and I remember being really surprised that the lead single was that strong - I mean it’s not career defining or anything obviously but it was a return to a strong melody and fun synths and it worked really well for me, I listened to it a fair bit at the time This! Although tbh I ignored several other eras before it too (looking at you Cowboy and Loveboat)

Mango's Chart Quiz (Week 7): NMTB - Audio round
#4 is bugging me, I can't work out what it is they are saying at the slowed down pace at all. Mr D* is so sick of hearing it, he's told me it freaks him out because it sounds satanic.

Radical Optimism • THE RATE RESULTS
Surprised that Happy For You didn't do a bit better than that. It's a nice enough closer, although I agree that it leaves you feeling like it just needed something else

I'm looking forward to this too - will be listening on the train to work tomorrow ^_^ Slightly argh that this is going to be coming for yet another #2 peak isn't it, bloody Coldplay!

Taskmaster
Yes! We're only just on our way through season 1 but the second one is out there and is getting some amazing reviews

Taskmaster
A bit off topic but I've just started watching Alma's Not Normal and I absolutely love it, Sophie Willan is great

Corona - The Rhythm of the Night: query
I've always thought the UK version of this was a track tailor made to soundtrack a ride on a travelling fairground waltzer.

The BMRB Years- Top 10 Sales
Me too - I loved how different it sounded to other synth tracks and the sparse nature of it seemed quite daring, but it's never really grown on me any more since that initial listen. My favourite of theirs by some distance is Quiet Life.

We haven’t even heard those tracks yet have we?

The BMRB Years- Top 10 Sales
Ooooo great to see the fabulous Party Fears Two making the top 10, it's by far my favourite in that top 10

I think I was possibly too generous to Moon and the Sky, I'm not sure it actually deserved points over a few that I left out. Storm in a Teacup definitely did though, it's got a really lovely melody to the chorus and I really like the lyrics about Andy's mum.

Vitesse X – This Infinite
Oh thanks for the bump of this Kath, I hadn't even realised it had been released!

Recommend an Album: 2005
I found Wires really annoying, so much so it put me off buying the album despite me having previously bought their debut.
