^^ That is a correct first and last place order! 🙌🏻 1 is good but 3 has more emotional impact for me.
  2. This definitely does influence whether I buy something or not. I really enjoyed Cowboy Carter but there was no way I was buying the initial vinyl release that didn't have anything close to the final tracklist, especially when vinyl isn't a cheap product to buy. Fortunately in that instance they released a complete version that I got instead, but it was some time later than the original release date. Confessions II is another where there are shorter versions of the album available on vinyl. This is a slightly more weird case as the full version is also available as well, but it makes me think that they were still working on the album when the original pressings were made and that they later added a few more tracks and also got a 'deluxe' version produced with them on it. But I do understand why it happens... there's a finite amount of pressing plants in the world and the industry never anticipated the rise we've seen in demand - so the labels have to book in their slots so far in advance that if they miss them there's literally no capacity to get another one in time, unless you're a hugely influential act - hence why Adele got so much criticism within the industry for the label clogging up the production plants with so many copies of 30, to the detriment of smaller indie acts who heavily relied upon vinyl for sales. I believe it's also largely why we had a period of vinyl being released after the digital versions.

I’ve survived this drop unscathed. The ones I love I’ve already got (XX, Caribou, Burial, Radiohead) and the rest seem nice but not essential for me

Love Sensation is pretty much the worst track on the album for me - so I’m all for having a different version, especially as I think the original song would suit Kylie anyway.
  5. That’s not bad, implies it may stick around for a few more weeks 🤞

Ooooo what’s Blue in Concert like? Is it worth getting? Surprised that Blue wasn’t one of your first buys though. Much love for Rival Dealer, Magdalene, Bounty, Kin, Have One On Me, Ys, Immunity and Lux in particular out of your choices
  7. Pure Shores <3 All Saints and William Orbit really were a perfect fit for each other and this was a wonderful introduction to their second album. As someone else has already pointed out, it really was a single that you never heard a bad word about, everyone of all age groups seemed to like it or at least appreciate it. I'd go on to prefer their follow up even more but this one is definitely still a 10/10 pop moment.
  8. Being top 10 for two consecutive decades is very impressive, there must only be a handful of acts that have managed that

Sadly the link doesn’t work for me. I guess it must be set to private - but no worries!

And given this is a vinyl thread, does anyone else have discogs accounts to log their collections?

What have you got in your collection so far Pav? Just looked and yes II is ridiculously expensive, I swear it wasn't difficult to find new a few years back.
  12. 01 Rock Music 02 SS26 03 Card Declined 04 Playboy Bunny 05 Camera 06 2007 07 I Keep Thinking Bout You Every Single Day And Night 08 Yeah 09 I'm Afraid 10 Wink Wink 11 Persona 12 Magical Metal Montana 13 If you take away the music then what has she got? 14 No One Lasts Forever featuring David Cronenberg Not hugely different from the original tbh! I always have to tweak with things so will probably keep changing until I settle on how I prefer it... I know IKTBYESDAN already features as part of Card Declined but I quite like having it on again
  13. On my playlist that’s precisely where I’ve put If You Take Away The Music too! it works so well

I never really knew that they could score like this They make a man wanna speak Spanish Oh baby when you pass like that You make a woman go mad
  16. I don't think any of the vinyl editions have the full version on them, sadly. They all seem to have the looped forever ending instead, and whilst that is a cool idea, I really like the David Cronenberg outro and think a loop of his final line would have been even better

In terms of re-peaks, I'd probably say Take That had the most impressive in the UK that I can think of. They really did sustain that second era for a long time. Kylie did fantastically well also though.
  18. Me in quite an important meeting at work today: Okay that's a good idea, I think I can get on board with it Yep I can see a few ways around how we could complete this research Best just try to work out which method is likely to be most effective Hmmmm I wonder which variants of the Charli album blacksquare bought. Bet the film edition is one of them Sorry, what was that?

OMG please let Robyn stay top 40!! Who cares about the #1 record being broken when Robyn is dancing on her own
  20. Me too! It could be really interesting. I’m just happy to get more songs this year though tbh
  21. I’ve decided I want the baby blue one from her store. Now just need to try and time the order so it arrives on a day Mr D* isn’t around so he doesn’t moan at me for buying too many records. I imagine the official store will be disorganised and this will be difficult to achieve.
  22. Maybe Perfect 10 but I’d be surprised if the other was anywhere near sadly
  23. Although I’d go with @Addy! as he could likely deliver it on his plane
  24. Just so you know, I think that looks the same as the indie stores version in the UK https://www.wearepopstore.com/products/charli-xcx-music-fashion-film-ecomm-indies-exclusive-hardwood-vinyl?variant=57361085497721&country=GB&currency=GBP&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22751866789&gbraid=0AAAAA_gLEcpH_8WxuCiWhzOKawj9mOBNK&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrtmTpJ32lQMVqJZQBh3WRwptEAQYASABEgJNgfD_BwE Not that it necessarily matters but won’t be as limited as it may seem
