I can no longer see Titanium on the 59p lists, may be it was a mistake? Unless it got put on there a day or two early and it will be on the next batch on 59p songs due soon, does the list get updated on a Tuesday?

The next week could be interesting, I'd imagine Alyssa's remixes will begin to fall by midweek and I can see Titanium gaining again at the weekend. Maybe it will all come down to her EP sales. Alyssa will definately be #1 in the mids though.

Well the song is everywhere so I certainly think 100k is possible but like you say, it won't beat Louder's first week sales. At the moment there doesn't seem to be much out on the 19th February which makes me think that if HRN can't get a second week, something like Flo Rida or even Gotye may well get there chance. I guess we will see. Next week or two seem to be quite unpredictable at the moment which is quite good to see.

David Guetta seems to be gaining momentum which is great news, #1 on itunes by the weekend then? Will be interesting if it gain a lead for next week. I don't think Flo Rida will reach #1 next week though once a video is out it will definately be a contender and hopefully Gotye also will be in a few weeks, seems to be gaining nicely now too. I can't call Aylssa Reid at all though I suspect it'll go top 5 at least. It would be odd if it reached #1 considering it only reached her home country peak of #11. I also can't call Will.I.Am, the fake version is high to assume a big #1 but as previously mentioned, a high fake version doesn't necessarily mean a UK #1. The only song I'm sure that will reach #1 in the coming weeks is DJ Fresh, over 100k first week? But its going to be incredibly front loaded.

Do labels have any say in getting rid of those fake versions? Just seems weird Will.I.Am's label are letting the fake version get so high as surely it could potentially affect its first week sales. I wonder if his label will rush release it this weekend?

Shame Gotye is falling again but I guess thats the 'weekend' effect so will hopefully climb again Monday. Glad they have released Flo Rida, with the low sales it really wouldn't surprise me if it went to #1 (Lana and Cover Drive will also go top 10). If it doesn't then it may just show that the fakes have an effect on the real version. I wonder if they will bring Will.Am forward too? Dunno why they didn't wait until tomorrow though.

Well I am abit of a Gotye loon B-) Seriously though, you're completely right, ultimately sales are the most important thing and it'll end up selling well long term anyway I'm sure, I just find it completely annoying/frustrating when songs (in general) get stuck behind one weekers even though they will end up being bigger/selling more. I guess in MLJ's case it WILL be remembered by the fact it was stuck behind loads of #1s for 7 weeks :lol:

Probably, alas like Moves Like Jagger again, but you never know. I'd say T.H.E will go to #1 on 12th Feb, Hot Right Now on 19th Feb and Rockstar on 4th March and Wild Ones could be a threat to them all though (don't think it has a release date yet?). Of course I could be overpredicting those four but the fake versions suggest they will be big anyway. Gotye could of course become really big itself and stop them or take advantage of a more quiet release week. As soon as Gotye went top 10 in Ireland it went to #1 in a few days so who knows.

Its true, video play can make or break a hit IMO. Gotye will need to be played regularly on the main stations like MTV hits, the box, 4music etc which will hopefully happen soon. It was always going to be big though. I was hoping for a #1 with it but I am not so sure now, simply because I can see it getting stuck at #2/#3 behind loads of one weeks like T.H.E, Wild Ones and Hot Right Now which are all clearly going to be BIG. Nice to see Gotye having a big lead on Ireland's itunes though. The reverting can be quite confusing sometimes, I am never sure if its new or not, especially on livepop. :lol:

Yeah, Gotye was even #1 on Irish itunes earlier :o TV airplay will hopefully pick up next week once it (potentially) goes top 20. Fresh42012 is all over the Box yet it doesn't seem to get played. Just seen that the Flo Rida fake has been deleted. There's another version in the 300s that will climb over the next few weeks I'm sure. I wonder how many fakes will get deleted before it gets released :lol: Its only a matter of time before the Will.I.AM/J-Lo fake gets deleted too I'd imagine.

I agree that not all high charting fake versions end up meaning songs will go to #1 but I think Wild Ones will have quite wide appeal and it has good chance, and its the highest charting fake song so far. Label will release it shortly I'd imagine? You're right that not everyone will rebuy it though. I really do hate these fake versions but what do labels expect? I mean why is Alexandra Burke releasing her single in March, thats nearly 7/8 week wait!

I think its mainly because its climbing thanks to Radio 1 and 2 plays during the day but it isn't any exposure (especially TV) during the evening so falls back. Interesting Gotye is almost #1 on Irish itunes already :dance:

Does anyone know the expected release date for Wild Ones? I think it was planned for February at some point but the fact its climbing so fast makes me think they will release it in the next couple of weeks (ala We Found Love). Its a definate #1 IMO once it gets released.

Wild Ones doing very well, really wouldnt surprise me if it gets Flo Rida another #1. If it continues to climb it wouldn't surprise me if they rush release it in the next 2 weeks.

I know Sia is Australian :lol: but I think its gonna be huge, #1 is just a gut feeling though. I agree with everything you said actually. I actually think Wild Ones by Flo Rida could up reaching #1, its already got massive leads in Australia & New Zealand itunes and that's without a video. I'd also say DJ Fresh is pretty much a certain #1 in February as well. I'm not convinced SHM will be #1 just yet but not long to wait now. Lana could well be #1 the week after but again, I'm not convinced but there's not much that could stop her? (her album will probably go to #1 though). So hope Gotye does it but its gonna need TV support, it'll go top 5 regardless though. I wonder when Kiss The Stars will go back up to 99p?

I know exactly what you mean but hopefully it won't underperform, its a genuine worldwide smash and its surely going top 10 at least (though like you, hate it when songs hover up and down and don't seem to get anywhere). If its got to #23 on just a few plays, just think what it could do in a few weeks with A list support from Radio 1 & 2 and full TV play!

Unless anyone can state otherwise, it probably just wasn't played on Radio 1 or 2 today (or at least not in a prime slot) so hence why its falling. It'll probably climb again tomorrow and its done incredibly well to get as far as #23 so far IMO with only a handful of radio plays. I'm hoping it'll go top 40 on Sunday and with that, MTV's chart shows will end up playing it next week. I am quite surprised The Box, 4Music etc haven't started playing it yet though but may be next week. Its also B-listed on Radio 2 now as well. I love the cover though, I wonder how long it must have taken to get that right! :lol:

Its actually climbing a bit quicker than I thought it would be, especially as its only Radio 1 and 2 that are playing it at the moment? Is it being played on TV at all does anyone know? I haven't seen it myself though I guess it will potentially be played from next week if it goes top 40 anyway.

I have everything crossed for #1 but I think 2-5 at the moment. The lack of new releases will help and I can see it climbing quite quickly (considering on Friday it was barely top 100 and now its #51 on itunes). I don't wanna jinx it though. It is a massive grower and if it gets to #2 or #3 then so be it BUT if it gets stuck for weeks at #2 behind loads of different #1s (ala Maroon 5) I will be fuming!

I reckon Jessie will get to #1 next week with Swedish House Mafia going there the following week (really can't see Florence doing it). I actually never thought Lana would ever go to #1 but I wouldn't rule it out now considering there still isn't much out and I can't see SHM being there for long. Could Will.I.Am get there with THE? Its now out on 6th February or may be I'm over predicting it considering it hasn't exactly done amazingly anywhere yet. DJ Fresh is a certain #1 in Feb IMO and as long as Alexandra's song is good, it's likely it could be #1. Add in a mix of Gotye (which is at #65 after only a few plays on radio and no promo yet, I can't believe how quick its climbing everywhere now even the USA!) and Flo Rida's newie which I can see being big I think February should be at least abit more exciting than January.

Its a bit frustrating as it keeps going to about 98/99 then falling to 110 each day but its only because it still had much (if any?) plays yet. I am hoping that TV plays though, i think that could make or break it. Hopefully TV will get behind it once its goes top 40. Anyone else think Domino will be #1 next week? Its getting quite likely at the rate its climbing!

I wonder if Domino by Jessie J could be a possible contender for #1 next week? Its shooting up quite quickly and is now #5.

On his youtube page, it did say 26th February but earlier in the week the part at the top now states 12.02.12
