iTunes Thread: June 2010 (II)
I also like the track BUT i think the label will delete it shortly as its selling off a compilation and its not suppose to be out until late July. If they do delete it and readd it on later on then it wouldnt surprise me if its becomes a summer dance #1

Germany 2010
great news about Radio 2, a little unexpected but very pleasing too. Its already starting to make an impact in Europe. It debuts at #1 in Norway. I'd expect it to reach #1 in several countries over the coming week (likely Denmark, Sweden, Austria and Sweden, also think theres a strong chance of top 3 in Ireland as well). All great news

Eurovision iTunes
Lena is already #1 in: Germany Austria Switzerland Sweden (it has a MASSIVE lead there) Norway Denmark Finland Greece Ireland Plus top 10 pretty much everywhere else, its even managed to reach #24 in Australia so far (it was shown there earlier but its now night-time there so it could even go top 10 :o

The **Irish** iTunes Chart [NOV-OCT 2010]
Lena is already #5 on Irish itunes, it was #23 at 2am, it could climb to #1 but would need a massive lead to reach #1 overall on friday though.

Taio Cruz 'Dynamite'
Just heard this for the first time, love it and easily gonna be one of the big hits of the summer. Judging by the schedule at this stage it wouldnt surprise me if it gives him another #1 in the UK.

gooddelta's Eurovision 2010 Predictions
I agree with the predictions on the whole (especially the top 10) but I'll be slightly annoyed if Arsemia wins, i dont dislike at all but it just doesnt scream winner to me so its interesting many are predicting it to win now! I wonder if they win, if Azerbaijan will withdraw next year? I really hope Germany wins but i reckon it'll just go top 5 (which would still be a great achievement). Turkey and Greece will be close to the top 5. Its funny about Denmark, i wondered what people were on about before i saw the semi (that it looks rather uncomfortable etc) but my goodness i was shocked how true that was, the girl looked happy enough but the bloke looked like he didnt wanna be there, did he even crack a smile? If they can sort it out i reckon they could be top 3 IMO. I still think Romania and Belgium are gonna be the dark horses (despite Belgium's place in the final). Whoever wins its certainly gonna be exciting. I wonder if Azerbaijan has any chance to win now? Also has the betting now changed due to the running order?

iTunes Chart: May 2010 (IV)
Isn't Tinie out on the 7th June?

Germany 2010
Its a shame its not available as part of the compilation on itunes but it wouldnt surprise me if they release the single to itunes. It was added on Swedish itunes the other day and its already #13 on their itunes!
-
iTunes Thread: May III
It'll prob be added in the next few weeks. Its been available on the Swedish itunes for a while but annoyingly several songs on there are album only, including Germany :( so I'd expect it to be download only here too.

The **Irish** Chart Thread 2010
I know, and yet even on itunes people are STILL downloading the wrong version. It really wouldnt surprise me if its close to #1 combined, once its top 10 on itunes I have no doubt it'd shoot up. Anyway I'm really happy about Train being #1, makes it even more surprising it still hasnt reached the top 20 in the UK! I always find it interesting to see the songs that reach #1 in Ireland but not in the UK, especially those that fail to even reach the top 10 in the UK ie Lemon Tree.

All The Lovers (new single) Released: June 28th
Loving it, keeps growing on me each time i hear it. I think it is probably a good move they have brought the release forward, not as convinced for a #1 as i was, think it will come down to her promo and airplay. Its now up against Example but I'd be more concerned about being up against the previous weeks #1 (who that may be - maybe Tinie Tempah?).

** Hitstastic Top 40 Singles **
I would have replied sooner but i didnt realise you replied to me  Stromae doing very well in your Euro chart then, quite impressive its doing well in most european countries. Well I'm hoping for a debut at #1 for Train, i'll be disappointed otherwise :P I should really post my chart (especially as i put so much into it) but few people replied in the past so i never bother, maybe I will at the weekend :)

All The Lovers (new single) Released: June 28th
Hopefully it will stand a good chance, her main competition will be the previous weeks #1 (probably Katy Perry i'd guess).

'California Gurls' (feat. Snoop Dogg) • First Single
Your right, I heard the professor green song the other day and its beyond awful! I don't think it has a hope in hell IMO, plus its now out on 5th July (according to his youtube page) so its now up against JLS (JLS will easily beat it). Scissor sisters comeback is really good but i just can't see #1, I think Katy has it in the bag to be honest (unless something else comes along). I think the #1s in late june/early july will go : Katy Perry, Kylie (hopefully), JLS?
-
'California Gurls' (feat. Snoop Dogg) • First Single
According to Digitalspy, its out June 20th with the album out here on 30th August. Like Gooddelta said, its a huge grower, i really love it now. I can actually see it going to #1 here (kylie to be knocked off by kylie the following week :cheer: ). It'll certainly be big worldwide smash this summer.

All The Lovers (new single) Released: June 28th
Oh don't say that, though apparently Professor Green is out the 21st now. Absolutely love the song from the LQ version, think its gonna be HUGE myself, can see it going top 10 throughout Europe and hopefully #1 here (its bound to get loads of airplay/promo etc). It'll also go to #1 in Australia too i should think.

The **Irish** iTunes Chart [NOV-OCT 2010]
Its getting a bit exciting now, Friday's chart is gonna be very interesting. Alex and Glee keep swapping at the top but Glee are bound to fall back later in the week. Usher will prob lose the top spot but Train could be a dark horse, as it has another version in the 50s plus a physical release. Its gonna be sooo close i think. at Stereo Love, the fake version is still so high, as soon as the proper version is top 10 it'll shoot up but it makes me laugh how people keep downloading the wrong version!!

** Hitstastic Top 40 Singles **
Thanks for replying to me. Just saw Stromae is now #1 on your Eurochart :cheer: In fact I love all of the top 3 on that chart... ''01 (01) Train – Hey Soul Sister - Are you going to ever chart this lol, really hope this goes to #1 for you actually, really love it myself Next week. ;) Again going back to point about having some order in my chart, I've purposely held this back by one week.'' I hope the above means its a big contender for #1 then ;) I actually like the fact you hold back songs actually, brings a bit of order to it, otherwise like mine, the songs enter all over the place and have odd chart runs

The **Irish** iTunes Chart [NOV-OCT 2010]
For anyone who's been having problems getting into irish itunes recently its now letting me back in! Glee does have quite a big lead :o BUT Stereo Love fake is now #7, strange they didnt release it yesterday as i would have thought it wont debut at #1 now. I think that or Eminem will be #1 in the next couple of weeks.
-
Stromae - Alors On Danse
Call me mad but I'm actually beginning to think a UK label will pick this up and release it later in the year (maybe thats partly wishful thinking) but its been such a big hit I can't see them ignoring it. Like Rich said, give him some airplay and tv exposure it would fly into the top 10 IMO.
-
The **Irish** iTunes Chart [NOV-OCT 2010]
The fake version of Stereo Love is already at #25, contender for #1 next week maybe? Is anyone else having problems getting into the irish itunes store? Im still getting the same message so I fear i may not be able to get back in ever again to see the pop bars :(

The **Irish** Chart Thread 2010
Where did you hear that? They release very little info (most of the info i know is from chart track commentary) but there is no way a #1 sells that amount (bar from charity or X factor winners). I remember when Mario (Leave right now) was #1 on Christmas 2005, it was the fastest seller of the year and was the 11th best seller of 2005, but only sold 18k, meaning the top 10 of that year only sold over the amount. I remember reading an article saying Numb/Encore sold 2,000 the week it was #1 too. If you read the commentary from late 2009 when Joe was #1, he sold 20,000+ in his second week (maybe 40k at best by the end of last year?) and that was the 20th best seller of the entire decade (actually if you go by that very rough total then many big hits of last decade sold less than that).
