iTunes Chart // Early April
Yeah its gonna be very close i should think. I also think this is probably Noisettes only chance as this morning PF is beginning to really catch up on itunes. Noisettes were clearly catchy up all week, another exciting chart show today i hope (i personally hope noisettes do it). its a shame we didnt get sales on Friday to see if they were miles ahead.

Hot 100
Flo Rida will likely get a 7th week next week. BEPs label have announced its out digitally now on 30th March so i reckon it'll knock Flo Rida off. It'll easily do over 300k first week. Would love Gaga to make it at some point though.

iTunes Thread: March 2009 (Part 2)
Usually every 5-6 hours or so. MOST if not all itunes update in that time, including Australia's. On the weekend I usually look at Australia among others (like Germany, NZ, Ireland etc) at around 11am, 6pm, 12am and everytime its been updated. Sometimes the top end barely changes but it definately gets updated (last night the whole top 30 hadn't changed, only reason i knew the ozzie itunes had updated was fray and eric hutchinson had swapped). Sometimes if you look too soon it doesnt update though.

Youtube to ban all UK music videos
It is crazy but from the looks of things surely they will be banning only the 'official' label videos, presumingly music videos uploaded by fans are still likely to be there? I'd find it hard to believe they'd be able to ban everything. Hopefully itll get sorted soon though.

Flo Rida is very close to #1 based on popularity bars. He'll easily be #1 on the next update while Sats will probs be #3. By tomorrow Sats will be #2 though i reckon Flo Rida will have quite a lead by the end of tomorrow

Melodifestivalen 2009
I'm glad all the songs are now all over youtube, was quite annoying not being able to listen to them. I'm sure last year all songs weren't out on itunes until after the winner was announced? The field is wide open really and I think Marlena, EMD, Mans, Alcazar or Agnes could do it! All are brill so I don't mind who wins, not sure which one would do best at Eurovision. Mans track is my fav though. ...Oh i think EMD is only now climbing because it was out today, definately wasn't on itunes yesterday as i checked.. I also wonder if Marlena and Agnes are top 2 on itunes because they are the ones fresh in peoples minds as it was only 2 days ago. When was the last time a winner didnt reach #1 in Sweden?

I think its gonna be quite close. My HMV in Ipswich had loads of Sat singles though not many had been sold by the seem of things. Sainsbury's didnt have any, nor did Morrsions (but then Morrisons don't stock them anyway). I was pleasantly surprised at HMV as the last two times ive been there they didn't seem to have ANY singles and they had quite a good selection today.

Melodifestivalen 2009
Majority of the songs are now on itunes Sweden, it will be interesting to see if the final results will be similar.... The positions so far... 1 Agnes 2 Mans 3 Marlena 4 Alcazar 5 Sarah Dawn Finer 6 Velvet 8 Star Pilots 9 Heat 10 Lili & Susie 14 Anne/Marie 16 Emilia 19 Mollie 24 Amy Diamond Those are the main ones, BWO are also 36 and 41. Maybe Agnes will win? :o

Ahh I did wonder if they would stock them, has it been confirmed they will stock them?

iTunes Thread: March 2009
I'll probably be in the minority here but it really wouldn't surprise me if Flo Rida catches up to the Sats during the week, i think it could be quite close actually. Some people have mentioned about the physical but surely it won't be THAT huge? I mean only HMV stock singles nowadays. I doubt any supermarkets would stock it or anything? I'm sure it'll have good physical first week sales though!

Fantastic jumps for Sats and Flo Rida! I do think Flo Rida will give them a run for their money this week though. It's a shame that he's been released early, had they waited a few weeks it'd have had big opening sales and an easy #1. I fear he may get stuck behind Comic Relief now though there's still a chance he or Lady Gaga will overtake them later in the month as Islands In The Stream will be #1 for a good 2/3 weeks I'd imagine.

iTunes Chart: February (Part 2)
To be honest I reckon Saturdays will struggle against that kind of lead. Physical sales are dead anyway and Sugababes Vs GA only did 51k 2 years back first week. I reckon kelly for 2 weeks, then Islands In The Stream (think it'll have big first week sales) then Flo Rida will take over at the end of March (physical and download are both out 23rd March). Thats just my opinion though. I'd LOVE poker face to do though think it'll get stuck behind Comic Relief :(

I've just looked at the new live feed and Taylor isn't there :o yet on itunes I just had a look and she's still there? May be I'm wrong though

iTunes Chart // February
On the radio 1 website (on the playlist) it says:- Taylor Swift [d/l: 21 Feb]Love Story So it looks like its out next Saturday. I agree its a wasted opportunity for Valentines BUT it means its now gonna be Taylor Vs Kelly next week! Also mentions that Flo Rida is out to download 23rd March (same as physical). I reckon that could be the song that knocks Comic Relief off the top.

New Release Schedule (Physical): Monday 2 February
There's now an official release date, according to HMV physical is out 2nd March.

iTunes Thread // Late January
I agree its a good strategy, as many songs take several days to gain momentum, it certainly worked for Pink! I reckon Lady Gaga will have another week (Kid Cudi will get stuck at #2 now unless it can stays consistant and the album version of JD continues to fall), Lily will take over for 2/3 weeks then U2 will get it with their comeback (they are releasing the download and physical the same week). After that I have no clue. They havent even announced this years Comic Relief song which is unusual.

iTunes Thread // Late January
Lady Gaga gave another good performance on Sunday Night Project so i'd expect it to slightly increase its lead tomorrow (I'm guessing thats the main reason why she has pulled away from Kid Cudi the last 2 weeks as shes doing lots of promo). Looks like the album version is on its way down though, will be interesting to see how the week progresses. Surprised Tinchy's not higher yet actually but I expect it'll shoot up over the coming days. Oh and Lily is apparently out on Friday 23rd.

Looking at the popularity bars, Kid Cudi is beginning to drift now. Looks like Gaga will be staying put!

Does anyone have updated pop bars? Can't wait to see the sales this weekend! Gaga will likely stay at #1 but Kid Cudi is certainly giving her a run for her money! Can't believe PF is doing so well either.

iLoons Chart: January 2009 II.
I reckon it'll be quite close, according to the mids though, Gaga is still around 8k ahead so its still quite alot to make up. If you add the versions all together he is getting very close though... I find it funny how ever since the version at #33 was labelled as the original hip hop mix its been in freefall, goes to show people must have thought it was remix

iLoons Chart: January 2009 II.
I wouldn't say Kid Cudi will be #1 just yet, i mean Gaga still has a massive lead and the other versions could easily peak and begin falling. I think its gonna end up being quite close myself. I work out he's #3 combined and is quite close to #2 now though the bars can be misleading sometimes. He'll prob have at least 2 versions top 10 tomorrow, when was the last time that happened? I can only think of Leona Lewis Bleeding Love (Single and Album version) and Beyonce/Shakira with the original and radio edit of Beautiful Liar. Any others?

iLoons Chart: January 2009 II.
Kid Cudi is now #15, #52, #67 and #72 :o I wonder why there's 2 EPs on there, seems abit odd they've done that, as it'd be easily top 5 by now otherwise. Still shocked its the club mix thats the biggest version so far!
