Although I was one of those people to predict the feeling reaching #1 ^_^ i think Lily will better than that, she's already #1 on itunes video chart and its already top 20 in the irish itunes. I do think she needs to bring the release forward a week or two though otherwise it may burn out.

I agree with you on most counts ej87 I reckon there is a slight possibility that Leona Lewis Run could reclimb, itll definately continue to be a big seller next year. Lady Gaga Just Dance If this isn't #1 I'll be shocked, apparently its out for download on 28th Dec so i'd say itll enter around #2/3 and then climb the following week with the physical out. I reckon Alex will make it to 3 weeks at #1. Kid Cudi vs Crookers Day ‘N’ Nite I do love this and theres alot of hype about it. It'll help that physical/download are being released the same week. I think it will just depend how big Just Dance is (if JD is selling over 50k for example i think itll struggle). If this doesnt do it, itll go to #2. It has a very good chance though. Lily Allen The Fear I LOVE this, very catchy and i think this and JD are the 2 tracks will are most likely to do it BUT does anyone else think shes getting tv/airplay too soon? Its not out until 26th which is still 5 weeks away! Having said that, i still think itll reach the top. U2 I agree that unless they come back with an awful track, this will reach the top, but will have to wait to hear it. Comic Relief (x2) When was the last time Comic Relief failed to reach #1? I have heard about Girl Aloud/Take That track. If thats true then it will be MASSIVE!!

Top 3 definately, itll beat Girls Aloud I'd imagine and it'll give Lady Gaga a run for her money i reckon! Alexandra will get 3-4 weeks at #1 max. Kid or Gaga will be the first new #1 of 2009 IMO

That's what I've been thinking (Alex or Leona) then when kid cudi is out, it goes straight to #1 with just dance stuck at #2. Guess we will soon see, we may be over predicting Kid Cudi somewhat. Hopefully Poker Face will do it though, in Australia and New Zealand PF has been bigger so far.

I love this, really hope it gives her a second top 10, I think its strong enough to climb top 5 as well.

The song is excellent and i really hope for a #1 (though i prefer Poker Face) BUT I'm slightly worried because even though I'm sure Alexandra's sales will have died down by then, Leona's Run looks set to do another 90-100k this week, it really wouldnt surprise me if she reclimbs and stays consistant through January (ofcourse i may be completely wrong). Just to let you know Data are releasing the download and physical together for Kid Cudi vs Crookers – Day ‘n’ Nite on 12th January as confirmed by HMV and on Data's youtube link. HMV also mentions that Lady Gaga is out 5th January though not sure how true that is.

The track is a real grower IMO, def top 5 i'd say, I actually think it could reach #1 actually, its already playlisted at radio 1 and its not out till 26th January!! I reckon this, Kid Cudi and Lady Gaga are all #1 contenders in January but thats just my opinion

Following on from this, it seems if i press ''buy song'' if its in the itunes top 100 then it downloads fine yet seems if it isnt in the chart it just comes up with ''Could not purchase 'x'. There is not enough memory available. There was an error in itunes store. Please try again later'' I just dont get it, it was fine the other day. Anyone got any suggestions?

Impressive Sales! Great for TI and The Killers. With Hero looking like it will do 120kish (maybe slightly more) and with it beginning to fall quite a bit on itunes (in terms of popularity bars anyway), realistically id say TI or Killers could do it next week if they keep the momentum. I reckon Take That will likely take the following weeks though.

Great entry for TI, will be top 5 by Monday id think. Next week is gonna be another crazy week with Duffy, Take That and The Killers out on downloads. IMO Killers will come out on top though unfortunately i doubt they will overtake X Factor or maybe even Beyonce.

Completely agree, and i also wouldnt rule out Take That either. I dont think Killers will do it next week, i can see it debuting at #2 to be honest (though think they will reach #1 on itunes in no time next week). Hero will be mid top 10 on itunes by end of week id imagine

It seems a bit odd it hasn't been added to itunes yet? When Leon won last year wasn't there a problem with itunes and he wasnt added to mid morning and Simon wasnt happy about it? Or am i imagining that? Anyways ill say easy #1 after that performance. Surely its going to be released to itunes though? Would seem odd if its on ALL other sites not itunes?

I think its anyones guess to be honest. The competition over the next month or so is great, hopefully we should see some big sales weeks too. Help for Heroes, Leona, Killers, Take That, Britney and TI are all potential #1s IMO over the coming weeks. Of course Help for Heroes could underperform but then it is for a charity and the sun are plugging it. It wouldnt surprise me if it kept leona and the killers off the top to be honest. I can also see TT beating Britney but either of them could do it really. I think TI is the dark horse though and will hang around for a while.

Also this is a hit in Ireland, its already #10 (Leon is only 9 and falling already) and considering ITIL failed to chart there its certainly a result :o

Indeed it is the week of death. Take That will get the #1 though (unless its not good), Britney will be 2 id imagine. I should think Katy will do well, though wouldnt surprise me if it peaked on downloads. I also think TI/Rihanna is gonna be HUGE, can see that hanging around for a while (if none of those songs move date i can see it being a BIG sales week). IMO Leona, Help For Heroes and Killers are potential #1s in early November as well.

Finally some new releases!! And so many as well... TI/Rihanna is clearly heading to #1 IMO, and i reckon they will be fighting with Nickelback over the coming weeks (i love both personally). Christina Aguilera and David are heading for top 10 as well, could be quite a bit of movement on next weeks Billboard Top 100!! :dance:

Oh i really like the new Delta track to be honest, her physical sales are still alive and kicking this week - she debuts at #1 on the physical chart :o Great for Kid Rock, was always gonna happen really, though interesting he's not top 2 in either the download or physical chart which is quite rare. Another great debut for Pink, if they get the physical out soon itll be her 4th #1 there i reckon (her new album will easily reach #1 there).

Great for Katy Perry though! Surely its gonna be quite hard to be #1 overall though come Sunday? I mean Kid Rock had a big head start and will have sold more between Sunday-Wednesday and will surely be on a good 15k or so by now? Thats ALOT for Katy to catch up on, especially as Kid Rock will likely sell consistantly through the week? Be impressive if she does it though. She'll easily be #1 next week.

I think Kid Rock has a chance to be honest. He's now extremely close to overtaking Dizzee on itunes now (as seen by the popularity bars -especially if you add both the versions). The Saturdays will surely go top 5? The Verve will do well i reckon, top 3 id say And Katy is EASILY gonna hit #1, think itll end up being in the top 10 of the year as well. The dance version by that Nikki is still climbing itunes AND in ireland shes #11 :o
