The NOW Music Thread 2.0
That seems like a good guess but I suspect there will be a few upcoming singles throughout June that will make it too. Also, I wonder if they will even be able to get Drake? They didn't get Hotline Bling did they? If not, it'll open with Justin or Calvin I'd imagine.

Eurovision Song Contest 2016 · Grand Final
I was in Stockholm for the whole thing, firstly Semi final 2 and then the Jury final on Friday. We had an amazing experience though i'd much rather have Australia win. However, I can see them winning soon enough, I don't think they will be giving up anytime soon. In regards to the voting, I echo everything that's been said really. I'd imagine they will keep the system for another next year and see how it goes. If it begins coming obvious that there are diaspora issues and some countries are getting bigger advantages etc then I can see them having a potential rethink as I can imagine that some countries will begin to complain and getting annoyed. Having said all that, it ultimately does come down to the song because the top 10 does have different countries in it to last year.

Friday Chart Predictions (Monday Update + Top 5 Sales)
I wouldn't rule out Justin in the next couple of weeks especially with him performing at eurovision on saturday
-
Eurovision Song Contest 2016 · Green Room
I'll be at the Semi Final 2 and the Jury final on Friday. In regards to the latter, I wonder if JT will perform on Friday too? I can imagine he will just perform at the final though.

2016 Tips
Another couple: Kungs & Cookin' on 3 Burners - This Girl. Its currently #1 French iTunes but can definitely see this crossing over In Europe during the Summer. Peg Parnevik - Ain't No Saint. Currently #1 on Swedish Spotify, may well just stay a local hit but it certainly has the potential crossover to become a big hit

Friday Chart Predictions
I doubt WFH will make it to be honest I don't think its closing fast enough. Though they are in the UK next week so it may give them the edge.

Kungs Vs Cookin' On 3 Burners - This Girl
This song is currently #1 on France iTunes. I can definitely see this song catching on everywhere and I'd argue an early contender for the big Summer Anthem. I can definitely see this song being huge in various Countries anyway. The video isn't great but they performed this live on French TV the other day and its very catchy. 2Y6Nne8RvaA

Work From Home (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) | 1st single
When are they coming over for their promo?

Melodifestivalen 2016 / Heat 4 · Gävle (27 Feb)
To be fair all the finalists (bar AC entrants) have only had 5 and a bit days on Spotify. Its currently #3 on Spotify so will climb a lot next week. If Robin had had the full week it would have likely debuted in the top 5.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 19th February 2016
I can see Rihanna being #1 on the Streaming chart next week but I really don't think she will get close to becoming the sales #1. I can see how spending a couple of weeks at #2

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 19th February 2016
I'd say that's a safe bet. Unless something from the Brits helps a song shoot to the top (Like Rihanna/Adele) then I am expecting Mike Posner to challenge for #1 in a few weeks. I suspect Alan Walker could be a contender at some point too. it will be interesting to see what happens with Rihanna with the video out on Monday, it will surely climb to #2 anyway.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 12th February 2016
It wouldn't surprise me if I Took A Pill In Ibiza challenged for the top spot in a month or so, the video will be out soon too which will help. I don't see anything challenging 7 Years for a few weeks away (unless a song performed at the Brits shoots a song(s) up. Work will probably reclimb once the video comes out.

Melodifestivalen 2016 / Heat 1 · Göteborg (6 Feb)
Has anyone got links to the weblink?

Alan Walker - Faded
Anyone else think that this could get really big in the UK? I mean top 3 success? Its success in Europe reminds me a bit of Are You With Me. Its now been #1 in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Austria so far but looks like it could reach the top in the few more.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 29th January 2016
I'd say so, if it doesn't make it next week then it certainly will the week after.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 29th January 2016
In the last update 7 Years is now up to 0.84 - I think its now TOTD on Radio 1. Fast Car is also up to 0.93. I wonder if next week 7 Years will bypass Fast Car and jump to #1? 7 Years may fall back with the weekend effect though but it could end up rather close. I think Fast Car could now just peak at #2.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 29th January 2016
The next few weeks will be interesting for #1s Next week it wouldn't surprise me if Fast Car is the sales #1 but could get stuck at #2 due to Zayn's streams (i'd imagine Zayn's streams may slow a bit next week though). 7 Years is climbing very quick on streaming and sales so could definitely be a contender too. I didn't think Work had much of a chance to begin with but her sales seem to holding up well and if she puts the song/album on Spotify then she could certainly get close (FFS was #1 on streaming too).

Acts from various countries in the UK singles chart
I will never understand why they never pushed Aisha here, it was massive in Europe in 2003 and would have done well here too i'm sure. One of those weird cases that a huge hit in Europe never crosses over here.

The Buzzjack Friday Chart Show Thread- 29th January 2016
Why is it impossible that Fast Car will reach #1? Zayn will almost certainly get it next week but Fast Car could well get it the week after? It wouldn't even surprise me if Fast Car reached #1 (or got to #1) on streaming too. Rihanna is probably its only major contender at the moment (unless another artist drops) but I am half expecting it to fall now (it will be interesting how well it does on streaming too as FFS also reached #1 on streaming but never reached #1 overall). Has Rihanna got a video planned for it? I could see 7 Years being a contender during February too.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 22nd January 2016
It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow with Zayn releasing, I am sure it will zoom to #1? I have only heard a clip from Rihanna but it seemed ok, I suspect her lead will be greatly reduced by tomorrow. I am sure she will release it to Spotify in a few weeks like she did with FFS. Is 7 Years getting any airplay at all, its now up to #12 and I fail to believe its not getting supported at all? I wonder if Heart are playing it? Go Zara! Its nearly top 10 on Spotify so I'd say top 10 on iTunes could end up happening in the next week or so.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 22nd January 2016
Apparently Zayn's debut single comes out on Friday 29th so it will be interesting to see how that does?
-
iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 22nd January 2016
Is this being played on the radio? It seems to be climbing quite a bit recently, I wonder if a station Heart has got onboard with it early? (its impact isn't due until mid March so I'd imagine it'll be a few weeks before Radio 1 jumps on board - if they do)
-
iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 15th January 2016
Jonas Blue seems to be climbing very quickly now, wonder if it could be a #1 contender in a few weeks? Its currently #1 on Australian iTunes.

Friday Chart Predictions
I think Lush Life has the potential to be very big but its not getting any airplay right now so it certainly won't reach #1 in its opening sales week.
