In all seriousness, I actually thought you were all overhyping a K-Pop song from the get go and never thought I stood a chance so I’m genuinely surprised you guys were closer to being correct. 2 points IS rough so soon after Some Kinda Heaven came close too but can’t exactly complain about doing so well again. Four top 10s in a row is the best I might have ever done? And with a K-Pop song that I thought might be very divisive but it’s one of my songs of the year for sure so would’ve regretted not taking a chance on it. And have been thoroughly rewarded ❤️ Who’s your bias? Addy’s your bias and we always get great hosting in Botanikka so that’s a plus! And a very different kind of winner is always fun too. It seems to have taken on, when I see it in videos, some kind of "beer garden" lads chanting with their arms around one another, pint in hand kind of cult status, that the likes of Oasis, Mr Brightside & Sweet Caroline have. I don't suppose Mr Brightside sounds wildly summery either but it's the audience that it appeals to rather than the sound or theme of the song, I guess.

Can’t help but think you two might be conflating the comfort of knowing I often do well with assuming I’ll win because I don’t think It’s Me sounds like a winner at all. Not saying it won’t be a hit but something I’d pick out as a stand out winner, less so.

Yeah, I’ve jumped on the bandwagon big time. Who knows, maybe I’d have stanned it more if I’d paid proper attention before the contest this year but the performance really just tipped me into obsession.
