OBVIOUSLY very excited for this, she's one of the most exciting popstars about at the moment and straight up pop, fun and feels like she doesn't take herself too seriously, which is why I fell in love with Katy Perry all these years ago. That being said, I hope they don't just repeat the Espresso formula. While it is my song of the year, she's had some great songs in the past that weren't in this disco route, and I think she's much more talented than having someone in her ear trying to push her in this direction again, hoping for a TikTok hit. I thought Snatch Game was dreadful and highlighted why this series isn’t going to work with no eliminations. Vanjie, Plastique and Jorgeous barely even tried? And we wound up with half of the characters not even being real and just imaginations of what they’d be. Which is what Snatch Game has sadly become.

She’s definitely going to go all out pop with this, which I think is probably the right way to play this. People won’t want serious or intellectual from Katy, she’s your straight up, simple, pop girl and songs like Espresso smashing at current are proof that there’s very much still an appetite for cute summery bops.

I must admit, as much as I am an open and honest cheap hoe, I didn’t realise Mette was that cheap either until reading this thread? Obviously I know Kiesza was a bit cheeky but wasn’t aware any hype had progressed with her since Mama’s Eyes. I did, however, vote to veto Doechiii because it’s literally played in the nightclub I work at every single weekend. But hey! Absolutely love Alter Ego, my boyfriend spams it to death and he’s usually a Billie/Lana type lover.
