The model seems flawed in that it bases a lot off previous trends. So, naturally, Croatia and Netherlands are WAY lower in the televote than they will end up. And if Tattoo is factored into their jury model, it also explains why they think Unforgettable will win the jury votes again. Which I highly doubt it will.

The actual challenge was pretty crap, but I definitely agreed with Sapphira winning and would honestly... put Q like 4th for the challenge? So, if there were no robbed storyline, it wouldn't have even entered my mind that she was. Sapphira and Nymphia were the only ones that made me laugh as their act and then the jokes themselves (aka slides/clips) made me laugh from Plane and Q's. But I preferred Plane in their duo, because Q has this instinct to go LOUD and SHOUTY whenever she's doing comedy, as we've now seen when she played the brick and Amelia Earheart. The bit where she imitated Silky made me turn the volume down. THE LIP SYNC. I love Mh'iya so much but she did lose this once - went out on another VERY memorable lip sync though. She's had so many memorable moments for such a quiet character and I hold such a place in my heart for her. I also hold a place for Morphine though, so if anyone was gonna knock her out, I'm glad it was Morphine. And I'm hoping she can do the same to Dawn next week, who is being treated as if she's better than Morphine but I'm not really seeing it.

Very happy to see Madison climbing 85 places today, the highest she's been since the first day! Been noticing it picking up a bit of viral steam recently so now's the time. I've seen SO many TikTok's in the last 24 hours taking the piss of/discussing TikTok pushing videos that have Make You Mine, Texas Hold 'Em, Austin, Beautiful Things and End Of Beginning since UMG pulled other songs. Apparently it's just those same 5 songs on rotation, and I have definitely noticed it myself because the algorithm wouldn't usually push Benson or Djo my way because it's not the type of TikTok I respond to/the music I listen to/the channels I interact with.

FINALLY listened to these yesterday and reacted to the final for my YouTube channel: XlepTfFhw_A Main opinions are that Marcus & Martinus are the only ones with a winning package. I prefer Effortless in studio form but I think some of its oomph gets lightly lost live. That groovy bass really pops in your earphones but maybe feels more timid in an arena-type setting. One of my biggest takeaways was how poor the staging was for almost every act, bar M&M. They really need to look at Melodi Grand Prix this year, who gave all of their finalists creative staging, because so many of these songs were just light shows and 4 dancers, it got really tired and repetitive. I also listened to the AC entries and my GOD were some of these needed in such a safe final. Swapping out last week's "AC" qualifiers for Froken Snusk (robbed) and Gunilla (not robbed, would've made a highly entertaining 12th place) would've made such a difference to keeping me alive during reacting and editing. Having all 12 songs together really highlighted how little chances Sweden are prepared to take in even just having entertaining songs in their final, let alone getting selected for Eurovision.

I hear what you’re saying about “missing a trick” and what not, because there’s every possibility she’s in for a HUGE era next time but I think it’s better that she’s not queuing stuff up ready for maximum impact. Everything about her success has been organic, unplanned and was never really written with the idea of being a hit, it was just RAYE getting the opportunity to express herself. I hope she changes nothing about that approach next time, I hope she writes what she wants to write and doesn’t think about scoring a hit or anything like that. The magic of this whole era imo, is that it was a happy accident and she should just stay in her lane of whatever makes her happy because it’s worked before and I’m sure it’d work again.
