  1. Break My Soul was definitely huge, peaks can be deceiving in this day and age. I think I’ve mentioned this in the past, songs like It Girl didn’t even go top 40 but their cultural impact was still huge. Break My Soul felt unavoidable in the summer of its release.

Well, yes, that’s because trends come back around? That’s like laughing at anyone who suggested The Weeknd/Dua Lipa were on trend by releasing 80s sounding songs in 2020. It’s very evident that we’re about to reach an age in pop where that kind of 00s nostalgia is going to influence pop and I dare say Charli is the first mainstream artist to tap into that. She was on the PC music movement before any others, she’s always been bold and brave in her pop and led trends instead of following them, I don’t think that’s ridiculous to say at all.
  3. Charli getting some pretty strong support with this then! Hope it can carry some success through with it.
  4. Seeing some of these chart runs is actually kinda fascinating. How a song can (in multiple circumstances) be top 10 for 15 weeks and then be out of the top 75 six weeks later
  5. I struggle to think it doesn’t sink Ireland, honestly.

Biggest banger created in the history of this world. No but seriously, this was evidently created before Saltburn took off so I don’t think she was inspired by it. Just continues to show that she has her finger on the pulse and is always ahead of trends, more than anyone else in pop right now imo.
  7. True. And long may 'I'm Not A Girl' stay aswell, I've always found that such a beautiful song but even more so after watching Crossroads recently.
  8. Wow wow wow. Possibly the most instant wow moment I've had this whole year.
  9. Boo :( Katy doesn't win much around here but I really thought this song was popular enough to go all the way! Stan again for me, but I'm assuming it's got the win wrapped up.
  10. La Noia  Think it's become my favourite so far at this point.
  11. Week 3 01 [01] Tia Kofi 02 [02] Marina Summers 03 [03] La Grande Dame 04 [07] Scarlet Envy 05 [04] Hannah Conda 06 [05] Choriza May 07 [08] Keta Minaj 08 [09] Gothy Kendoll 09 [10] Jonbers Blonde
  12. Stan This result :( Really hoped it could go all the way.
  13. One of 2023’s defining songs for me, it’s exactly what the title says it’ll be
  14. I love Mh’iya too, I think she’s completely aware she’s not winning this but stringing her run out as long as possible. This week definitely felt like them wrapping up her “we’re so proud of you for coming out of your shell” storyline before they cart her off next week in the third design challenge of the season.
  15. Wow, they really threw Nymphia the biggest of lifelines, huh? EASILY the worst of the week. I’m glad, cos I love her and find her one of the most interesting, but there is no way Morphine deserved that bottom over her. Sapphira also deserved the win imo (and evidently the rooms opinion, judging by their reactions) but hey x

  17. Dreadful episode but I really don’t get the point of branding in teams, so I think they were all at a disadvantage from the jump. THRILLED by who went home though because I really thought I was going to be forced into another full series of Jonbers and I genuinely groaned every time she spoke this episode because there’s NOTHING there besides leaning into every Irish stereotype in the most uninspired way. Her going before Gothy is mildly laughable but hey, I’m sure she’s got to be next. GOT TO BE. Very happy Tia got her moment this episode, I have no doubt she’d have smashed it on her own but she adapted herself well to the team too. Scarlet was definitely the best at creating a clear narrative so I agree with the top 2. Shit lip sync to the weirdest cut of a great song though, wish Tia could’ve played into more of her silliness than just trying to be fierce though.
  18. There's such a CLEAR top 5 forming here, I feel - Sapphira, Nymphia, Plasma, Plane and Q. I'm not sure who won't quite make it, leaning towards Q. I guess now would be a time for one of my (almost definitely miles off) predictions based off what I've seen so far and knowing no spoilers: 9th: Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige 8th: Xunami Muse 7th: Morphine Love Dion 6th: Dawn 5th: Q 3RD/4TH: Plane & Plasma 2nd: Nymphia 1st: Sapphira I can't see Mh'iya surviving a third week in a row in the bottom and Snatch Game seems like the exact type of thing to take out a more timid personality. If there's a Lip Sync Lalaparuza at the final 8 (no idea if they're doing that again but they've been going down well, so it'd make sense), Xunami strikes me as the weaker performer - maybe Q vs Xunami as the worst 2 in that, but Q managing to Bosco her way out of it somehow. Morphine has been coasting but acting as a common talking head so 7th feels like a natural spot for her. Dawn, I feel, could still get her first win yet but I don't see her breaking into the top 4, she just hasn't had enough love. Kinda feels similar to a Denali or someone like that. If we're having each queen get their own songs in the final, Sapphira and Nymphia strike me as having the biggest brands and the most unique performance style to make it over the other two. Then, I'd think Sapphira would win, as her lip syncs are pretty iconic.
  19. After Episode 2: 01 [03] Tia Kofi 02 [01] Marina Summers 03 [04] La Grande Dame 04 [02] Hannah Conda 05 [05] Choriza May 06 [07] Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha 07 [06] Scarlet Envy 08 [08] Keta Minaj 09 [10] Gothy Kendoll 10 [11] Jonbers Blonde As ever, these rankings are not based on how they did that week, just my personal feelings towards them. I've always been a huge Tia fan, and I got very emotional during her Cherry talk and thought this week really documented her improvement. I don't think she's the best yet, of course, but absolutely my favourite.
  20. I’m seeing videos of people doing the Grammys choreography like constantly but then I guess my FYP is aware I’m a Dua stan
  21. I predicted this would happen weeks ago. Deliberately send a song that they can’t send, so they can withdraw in a “they made us do this” way, that makes them look like the victim.
  22. Can she release more of the vinyls/bundles please x
  23. Hooray! After about 13 rounds of voting for it across its two Survivor appearances! Actually love all 6 songs left now but ended up going for Stan, as it’s probably the one I’d be least likely to want to listen to, as I never feel inclined to have Eminem shout at me. One of his best though, admittedly.
  24. Great set of songs there, particularly GET IT BITCH @ Ms Muller though of course. We love to see it x

Also saw her live last night, after wanting to see her for like 6 years now and wow, she really didn't disappoint. One of my favourite gigs since probably Carly Rae Jepsen this time last year. I don't know if I'm just super emotional these days, but I can't hear Venus (the song) without welling up, including live. And Can't Tame Her remains an 11/10 of a pop song that I'm SO glad she had in her back pocket for this era, which felt a bit make or break as to whether she'd ever have another hit again.
