I actually really like this! I think I'd find it more generic if it was all in English, but the mixture of languages and certain choices of flow in the language stop this being completely run of the mill. That said, I expect there'll be a lot better to come and it's not the peak of pop girly entries, but I think it's a strong enough entry to make the final and it's well performed!

Avoiding listening to any qualifiers so I can react blindly to the finalists at the end of the heats but - you know full well how much I stan Samir & Viktor. Whose idea was it to make them sing near enough acoustic for so long at the start? I still quite like the song but it was their weakest MF song to date, so quite the fall from grace for them and I think it definitely had a bigger air of desperation (on Samir's part anyway) than genuine joy when they used to compete.

But it doesn't quite have THAT hook. The clapping part was iconic. I worry that the whole package is iconic because "woo iconic woman" which... yes, absolutely. But does the song have something to majorly latch onto for casuals? I'm not so certain it does. Love her and the song, but I think this could just as easily be bottom 3.

It's always been 3 or 4 weeks at maximum, hasn't it?

I definitely didn't feel like Amanda deserved the bottom two, but every time I try and work out who I'd put in her place, I can't justify anybody else. Her verse was probably like my 8th favourite, but she did have issues with her hair and the runway was terrible so it does make sense, sadly. All tea though, Q was worst in the challenge and did lose the lip sync but wasn't expecting them to sacrifice her after her consistency. Was really good to see some of the underdogs shine this episode! Even if they don't get much else through their time here, they've got a challenge win under their belt and that's nice to see. I think we all know Geneva, Megami and Mhiya's days are probably numbered so at least they got a good showing at something they genuinely excelled in. Especially Megami, who has completely faded into the back the entire time, who had a great verse and wrote Nymphia's great verse too :lol:

I’d say she has more of a social media fan base. The type of people I know who listen to Fred Again would never be commenting on posts of his to vote for him at the BRITS.
