I think this is her most cohesive era yet for sure. I’ve loved her for ages but this era has really cemented everything I’ve ever seen in her as an artist. The photo shoots, the art direction, the whole vibe of summery, unashamedly pop, girly and confident. Think she just works so well with MNEK’d brain.

It was SO obvious to me from first listen that Infohazard sounded like as if had intentionally been created as BJSC bait. It really taps into dance, pop and something a bit more experimental all in one, so it was always going to appeal to every bloc. Completely deserving aswell, so nearly my 18 for a country that I don't vote for particularly often. VERY happy with 9th place, didn't expect it to be top 10 at all (I see people saying I do it all the time but it's only my 2nd one of the year, it's been quite a middling year so far!) and glad that sending RnB-pop actually did better than I'd have foreseen. Actually really loved this contest, I get fatigue from too many countries myself, so I think everything being condensed suits my lack of attention span. It helps that a lot of countries brought their A-game, so it also felt high quality AND condensed. Great results concept too Silas, agreed that I wouldn't want it every time, but thought it was a fun change that kept me nervous to do each scroll incase I arrived. Thoroughly enjoyed it <3

It's quite normal for a broadcasting channel / streaming platform to promote their biggest product, surely? And things like Barbie were promoted to DEATH, so it's only natural that they'd meet the demand of such a popular film with interactive events. I doubt it's even with the idea of pushing songs on the charts because Golden is already a Hot 100 #1.

It’s definitely been a superb PR move for Zara to support Tate if nothing else. Every comments section is flooded with praise for how she should be bigger / headlining herself, so even if it seemed like an odd move, goodwill is most certainly on her side. If only that could translate into more chart success 😩

Hahaha, I'm going to assume that's referring to Catty! Not my favourite of hers but still solid. I saw Greta's song hyped on some sites I follow and it's fun too. Nothing in this weeks selection had me jumping to vote for it (Yves/PinkPantheress is my favourite release of the week) but Rita Ora's is fun in a very derivative way so went for that.
