X Factor: The Live Shows
The outcome is unbelieveable. They are both great singers. ANYWAY, Id say Ruth will probably go...tho Rachel or Daniel should have went either way, both will get a career out of it

X Factor: The Live Shows
01: Eoghan I dont understand how people think he can sing. Hes not bad but hes nothin' special. Tho better than last week. He was at his peak in the middle 02: Ruth Shes a great performer tho a hard song for her, but still a solid effort so i hope she stays. 03: Laura Got a little 'shouty' tonight at the end of the song, and very low at the startt. Tho i think she has an awesome voice and should be safe. 04: Rachel This was beyond rubbish. She shouted her way through the performance and didnt have a good tone right through. I think she should go - shes always complainin' anyway. 05: JLS They're alright, nothing special. Tonight that guy who opened it was a bit pitchy tho then it got more rythym. Dont think they'll win but will probably do well. 06: Daniel Not as bad as usual tho I think he might be the one to go. who knows 07: Alexandra very predictable song choice :P Anyway she delivered good. She'll probably win. This is the first Ive talked about the shows, so - I think its quite a good year. Alot of people seem quite good and I think this will be the first time where there will be a few people who will gain success from a series, wheras before its just been the winner. I think Alex, Laura, Diana, JLS & Ruth will all probably do well regardless...

Sunday Chart Predictions
01 X Factor Finalists 02 Beyonce 03 Girls Aloud 04 Britney Spears 05 leona Lewis I think this looks about right. Though Spears and Lewis could possibly switch places since Spears is on download only. Not that that matters all that much coz look at Beyonce :P

Hilary Duff - Holiday
Ive heard through the grapevine that shes signing with one of Universal Music's labels. She's actually been in demand from a few labels, believe it or not...its just finding the right one

Hilary Duff - Holiday
Just came across this song, its VERY GOOD. Not usually my kinda thing, but thought you should all know about this The song was written by Hilary, her sister Haylie and Ryan Tedder, it was also produced by Tedder who is the leadman of One Republic. Famous for his writing and producing credits on Bleeding Love as well as Duff's other tracks 'Gyspy Woman' and 'Reach Out'.

Next Week`s Chart (the preview 3rd Nov 08)
Im very surprised with Leona's one. Its extremley low for her I was expecting top 5 at least, anyway 'Run' will probably chart well on downloads alone with the couple tv performances it will be getting
-
The Script -The Script/4th Single - Talk You Down Thread
This song is awesome! I dont think it will meet the popularity of 'Man who cant be moved' but still it should do good. It'll hopefully go top 10

Hilary Duff | Reach Out
How do you guys think the song will do in the UK?
-
Alesha ∙ The Alesha Show: The Encore ∙
To be honest, I had never heard of her until a few days ago when she was played on radio 1. Cracking the top 3 for her is gonna be tough especially up Against Spears, Aguliera, Lewis and 'Hero' which will still be going strong. Personally I dont like a song, probably coz im a guy and its more of a womans song tho :P
-
Predict: Leona Lewis - Forgive Me
I dunno about #1, there is alot of competition. Britney Spears new single is going out on downloads alone, Tho I doubt its made enough momentum yet to make it to #1 on first week of charting. Christina Agulieras new one hasnt made much of an impact on radio here yet. And 'Hero' will probably still be going strong, though Id say a majority of the songs final sales will be from the first week. It could be #1, coz the video has been roaming around now for a few weeks and promotion has started as well as regular radio play. Tho there are alot of people not recieving the song all that well. But Im sure her download only re-release of 'Run' will crack the top 10 with the performances of it on X Factor and that Diva show. So yea, its definitley possible, I guess we'll have a better idea from next weeks midweeks

-
Hilary Duff | Reach Out
yea, some new pics from the vid leaked today...it looks awesome! its from the same director as Kelly Rowland - Work
-
Hilary Duff | Reach Out
yea the version with him (the single version) hasnt premiered yet
-
Hilary Duff | Reach Out
the 'Best of' album has been pulled up to a November 4th release for the U.S Also rumour has it, the video will premiere this week ALSO, i havent seen it posted here that this song was actually written and produced by Ryan Tedder, from One Republic, the man behind Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love and also another guy co-wrote it called Evan Bogart (SOS, Rihanna)
-
Jesse McCartney - Its Over
He would have done better if this album had of been released through Jive, Hollywood records are so screwed up. The album is actually quite good from what I have heard of it. It could have done great worldwide if HR didnt screw the promo up, like they do with everyone now...Hilary Duff for example. Her album last year was VERY good but they screwed that up too, tho i hear shes leaving them this year?...kinda sad how they treat their artists with no respect, apart from Jo Bros and M Cyrus
-
"Circus"
its kinda childish they are naming them the same. i guess it only affects the UK tho, coz TT will prob release it at other places at different times??
-
Which Video Is Better?
both are great pieces 'Hot N Cold' is more comedic while 'Womanizer' is more sexed and futuristic
-
Radio 1 Playlist (22/10/08) + Retros (Page 2)
how the hell is miley cyrus on their a-list every time?? I mean its as if they are sitting at the computer waiting to add it.... ^_^ and jordin sparks 'tattoo' is already off...! its just been released, screw BMG, they really screwed this release up
-
Definitive one hit wonders of the year?
probably Sam Sparrow. Sara Biellies has good backing behind her so she might come back with a better song and Gabriella Cilmi has a great voice so she has a chance in the future, but yea those 3 right now
-
Jordin Sparks: Jordin Sparks
yea, but she needs help with promo. if BMG were gonna stick with a download only re-issue, they should have gave her some more tv promo. Paul Ogrady on Tuesday, Radio 1 Live Lounge on Wednesday and GMTV on Friday would have been fine and helped out a bunch...what was the point in her coming here, shes only doing 1 show, crappy loose women - i mean who watches that...kids (who would be a huge part of her audience) are in school....are BMG really that thick??
-
Lindsay Lohan
I dont think it matters that there is a heap of great producers, i just think the album will fail miserably. I its less than a month away, there has been zero promo, no music video, the single is premiering a week or 2 before it releases....what the hell?? Only die hard fans will get this
-
Sunday Chart Predictions
no surprises for me, tho im surprised about Jordin Sparks, i thought Tattoo would have had a higher debut...BMG should have done more promo this week (paul ogrady show, gmtv, radio 1 live lounge) and put it on a physical release...they screwed up coz its a great song
-
New Release Schedule(Physical): Monday 20 October
im very surprised BMG havent put Jordin Sparks 'Tattoo' on physical release considering it was re-issued and they even went to the expense of putting a new video out. Basically all they have done is done a new video and told stations to start adding it to their playlist again. They have made a big mistake...sometimes i think the pros have trouble workin stuff out :P
