    Also: "You can't tax a glass of water". Actually it already is taxed indirectly through water rates, not that any of the privatised companies operating in the UK actually pay their fair share of corporation tax anyway.

     

    It is pretty worthless engaging with people like that, their ignorance speaks more than they ever could.

    Quite enjoying this at the moment, it was released this week on Permanent Vacation records and is inspired by the Frank O’Hara poem of the same name which is sampled in the track.

    Love the way it builds - New Jackson is Dublin producer David Kitt.

    I'm fairly sure all the stars performing on the single will have donated, and by all taking time out of their busy schedules (well Jessie Ware probably wasn't busy... but hey :lol: ) they have done a huge amount to help raise awareness for the good and charitable work going on in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. I agree that the lyrics are patronising, and I don't really like this new version all that much, and I think Geldof is a bit of a dick, but I still find it hard to actually slam something that in the end will be doing a lot of good in the world.

    Of course, it will be very difficult, but definitely worth pursuing. I do like the way we are advancing in the renewable/low carbon sector including developing new technologies, and I've heard about the the STEM project, indeed one of my friends is a STEM ambassador, I just feel that we aren't doing much to address the issue and all Osborne is worried about is wringing out just enough 'growth' short-term to allow him to get voted back in come May.
