Are you a single person household? I think in that case you can already be in a support bubble with either your parents or grandparents and nobody would need to sit it out.. would be my interpretation.

The Tories do have a narrow lead but if you drill down into the numbers it is really quite extraordinary the growing polarisation between old and young - this is NOT normal. Remember that in the 1980s Thatcher had majority support in 18-34s. I think it has something to do with property ownership and so house prices going up 5% during a global pandemic are probably the main thing holding that very VERY old boomer coalition in place for now.

The production team on “Prisoner” are all male, I wish more female producers - and there have been some fantastic new ones like TSHA and Jayda G this year - were getting some mainstream success. I don't think you could say that music was a level playing field AT ALL.

This has been anti-bullying week. The Tories' contribution has been to end funding for a programme against homophobic bullying and to allow someone found guilty of bullying to keep her job.
The message I've taken: If you're a workplace bully - feel emboldened, don't worry about it.

She broke the code, she should be sacked.
This is exactly the same as what happened with Dominic Cummings, instead of confronting what has happened they lie or bend the rules (that anyone who is not favoured by the Conservative Party would not see the benefit of) and protect them in order to get the outcome that they want.

That's the quandary of the government to solve I guess, its hard to know what to do. One things for sure letting uni open as normal and loads of 18 yo kids move to various different towns across the country was the wrong thing to do and there was issues with the Tories wanting this so their friends in the private landlord sector would make their usually money from the parasitic capitalist sector.
I did post a good article about this in the university funding thread.

“Love Shack” went down really well at my sister's wedding with people mostly born at or after it was released so it's definitely crossed over to classic status - although my Dad wondered over when I was playing it saying he thought that he hated it but it wasn't as bad as he'd remembered it. :lol:

I don't think having the whip restored is all that important to the membership, being reinstated in the party was the key thing here. Besides JC has always been independently minded and voted against the Labour Party through much of the time that they were in government so being an 'Independent MP' who happens to be a member of the Labour Party is probably an accurate reflection of who he is.
We're after all talking about geeky minutiae that the GP couldn't care less about.

Indeed one of the recommendations of the report was the LOTO's office not being involved with the disciplinary process - which Starmer claimed he was happy to implement and yet he took the action to suspend Corbyn, directly ignoring one of the EHRCs key recommendations.
Furthermore, one of the key findings from the report:
10. EHRC did not find that the Labour Party is institutionally antisemitic.Something you wouldn't know watching the BBC of course.
