Hasn't this been done before? The best thing about sampling 'Blue' was that it's not often covered/sampled where as 'What Is Love' has.

Think he would of needed something alot more poppier to have a massive impact like he's had before - Bad Habits, Shivers, Shape of You etc.... This feels more Afterglow to me tbh, which did pretty well for the one off single it was, bit I wouldn't have launched a new album with it.

To be honest I think the Radio 2/adult/collectors market would be more excited about Lewis Capaldi and Pink appearing than they would be Raye and SZA, so it's probably quite right these lead the album. Plus Pink has been around for a while from a Number 1 album and a top radio airplay hit. It's obvious they've had problems getting the rights to the likes of Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles, Rihanna. Whether these are financial or just the record labels, who knows. I do also wonder if it's the adult market they are now targeting whether it would be worth the first half of Discs 1&2 (say 10-12 tracks) to be the big hits followed by the Radio 2 throwaway fodder at the end of disc 1 with the more edgy dance/rap/grime at the back of disc 2. I can't see how anyone who wants to get to listen to Simply Red, Noel Gallagher, Shania etc will manage to get through Sub Focus, Skrillex etc... to get to them without shutting it off. Yes, there's the skip option, but surely the want people to get the most out of the album, enjoy it and to keep coming back to listening to it in order for them to keep new editions selling. Just common sense surely?

It's either the record company holding back the rights until the streaming numbers for 'Flowers' and her album sales have died down or the track is just to expensive for Now to license at this moment. Let's be fair, the albums are only really selling to Now fans and collectors, I doubt there are lots of casual buys anymore so costs have had to be cut when compiling the albums, which means waiting longer for bigger hits like 'Flowers' and the new Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding collab etc... to appear indeed if they do.

I'd say given that Miley is not mentioned on the cover, she won't be on there which will be a shame, obviously the record company don't want to issue the rights to 'Flowers' just yet and may well keep it for 115.

Great news. I had a listen to the album last weekend and I was very impressed. Great energy and refreshing.

Been thinking for a while now that they can go in the compilations chart and keep the album chart for proper albums.

According to fan sites the spin off teased earlier this week is ‘Now That’s What I Call 60’s Pop’ out on March 10 on 4 CD and 3 Vinyl.

It’s a shame they didn’t update it before reposting it out.

Usually 2-3 years. Kelly also told Radio X in an interview that he's booked a studio in May/June to work on solo music, so we may see another solo album from him come before we see a Stereophonics one, so he's making the most of the bands break so it seems.

Was going to post about this last week, but didn't think people on here would be interested so didn't :lol: I think it's a great track and great to see Kelly working on other projects whilst the Phonics take a break, but hope they won't be away for too long though.

KISS are already playing it quite abit.
