  1. I'm kicking off by voting out 'Tender'
  2. 4. Parklife "Parklife" is the thir single and the title track from Blur's 1994 album. It reached number 10 on the UK Singles Chart and won British Single of the Year and British Video of the Year at the 1995 Brit Awards. The song is one of the defining tracks of the Britpop era. The song contains elements of spoken word in the verses, narrated by actor Phil Daniels, who also appears in the song's music video. The choruses are sung by lead singer Damon Albarn. 3. I don't think Raye's vocals work on this I'm afraid, it's all abit bland and disappointing

Great track, their best single from the 'Be Here Now' era for me.
  5. Source:- https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/d...aM0GImDJ2bykK9U As the iconic duo announce their split after nearly 30 years together, we reveal the numbers behind their most successful hits. After 28 years of dancefloor-filling hits, this week Daft Punk sadly announced their split. Formed in 1993, the French duo (real names Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo) were one of the most influential groups in dance music history, loved internationally for their clever and catchy multi-genre-infusing tracks. To celebrate their success over the last three decades and say au revoir to one of music's most iconic acts, we've compiled Daft Punk's biggest hits on the UK's Official Chart. First, a rundown of the Top 5... 5. Around The World Official Chart peak: 5 UK chart sales: 478,000 Taking you on a musical odyssey (its full-length version clocking in at 7 mins) armed with just three words and some seriously good instrumentation, Around The World is a perfect display of Daft Punk's talent at production, and lands at Number 5 with 478,000 chart sales to date in the UK, including 24m streams. 4. One More Time Official Chart peak: 2 UK chart sales: 806,000 An all-time classic truly deserving of it's place in the Top 5, One More Time's ability to get even the most reluctant of dancers moving. It's Daft Punk's fourth biggest song in the UK with over 806,000 chart sales - it also takes the most first week paid-for sales, with 59,000 copies sold on its week of release in 2000. 3. I Feel It Coming (with The Weeknd) Official Chart peak: 9 UK chart sales: 1.11 million One of two collaborations with The Weeknd for his 2019 Starboy album, I Feel It Coming is a slinky slow jam with more than a hint of Michael Jackson about it. Clocking 102.8m streams in the UK alone, it's Daft Punk's second most streamed song and third most popular UK hit overall. 2. Starboy (with The Weeknd) Official Chart peak: 2 UK chart sales: 1.9 million Bookending The Weeknd's album of the same name, album opener Starboy - a menacing meditation on dark side of fame and celebrity offset by Daft Punk's stuttering electropop production - is by far Daft Punk's most streamed track, with a mighty 184.6 million plays. 1. Get Lucky ft. Pharrell Williams Official Chart peak: 1 UK chart sales: 2.25 million Daft Punk's most successful hit in the UK is 2013's Get Lucky, a disco-infused collaboration with Pharrell that trailed their fourth (and now final) studio album Random Access Memories. Perhaps surprisingly, it's their only track to reach Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart, with a mega 2.25 million chart sales. With an immediately recognisable guitar riff courtesy of Nile Rodgers, and the ultimate earworm chorus, Get Lucky is the 45th best-selling single of all time in the UK, with 1.48m paid-for sales. It's also the pair's third most-streamed track with over 83 million plays since records began in 2014. 6. Following her incredible turn as a singing sausage on the hit show The Masked Singer, Joss Stone has put out her first single in over three years, ’Walk With Me’ GfPJ-FZgpiA
  7. Voted 'Parklife'
  8. 5. The Universal 'The Universal' featured on Blur's fourth studio album, The Great Escape. It was released on 13 November 1995 as the second single from that album, charting at number five on the UK Singles Chart. In keeping with the song's science fiction theme, the single's cover art is an allusion to the opening shot of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and the music video is a tribute to the movie A Clockwork Orange, with the band dressed up in costumes similar to Alex and his droogs. I actually really like that, never thought I’d say that about anything Shane Ward is involved with.
  15. A few that come to my mind:- Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway - peak No.22 - Great track and was massive on the radio at the time and still one of her best tracks Tiesto - Adagio For Strings - Peak No.37 - Arguably the most popular version of this track The Killers - All These Things I Have Done - peak No. 18 - One of their big singalong signature tracks Sean Paul - Temperature - peak No.11 - Still a massive club hit to this day Sum 41 - In Too Deep - peak No. 13 - Another big track from the early 2000's which gets more airplay than their actual Top 10 'Fat Lip' The Streets - Has It Come To This - peak No.18 - one of his signature tracks
  16. 'The Universal' for me once again.
  17. 6. Coffee & TV "Coffee & TV" is a 1999 song by the British rock band Blur. It was written by the band's guitarist, Graham Coxon, who also sang lead vocals, rather than frontman Damon Albarn. The song appears on Blur's sixth studio album, 13 and was the second single released from the album. The lyrics describe Coxon's struggle with alcoholism and the song's video, featuring a sentient milk carton searching for Coxon, won several awards. Commercially, "Coffee & TV" reached No. 11 in the United Kingdom, but Blur's manager Chris Morrison believed that it was deprived of a top 10 place after it was confirmed that some sales figures were not recorded. 18. I can see Radio 1 re-adding this to their playlist...if not this week, then next!
  19. Let's celebrate the 10th anniversary of what is possibly the most hated song of the 21st Century. Great idea!
  20. Reminds me of Liam Gallagher I like. The piano at times sounds similar to FGTH’s ‘The Power Of Love’
  21. Neither is the Bob The Builder version of ‘Mambo No5’

He's had some amazing hits! 'Ecuador', 'Adelante' 'Mysterious Times' and 'Stay' were all superb tracks!
  23. Pretty Meh on first listen. May grow on me in time, but I'm not rushing to listen again
  24. Unfortunately in the early 2000's, the Hits albums stopped Now! from getting the rights to alot of the Number 1's. They were very cheap and tacky albums as they used to feature 50+ hits on one disc, great value for money granted, but they used to fade tracks out about 2:30 through to squeeze all the songs on.
  25. Thanks for that, I've edited them in now :)
