First part of the Summertime Ball line up has been announced this morning:- Niall Horan Bebe Rexha Myles Smith Robyn Sekou December 10 Fatboy Slim Raye The rest of the line up will be announced tomorrow morning.

Foo Fighters last album sold 44,513 in its first week back in 2023 though I’m not sure how much hype there’s been for this new album but should do about 35-40k. Even though Noah Kahan’s last album has been a constant seller I’m not sure if this one will top Foo Fighters sales but will probably sell well enough to be an easy Number 1 in a quieter week. Michael Jackson’s harder to predict as it will depend on how the OCC distribute the streams between the soundtrack album and Essential Michael Jackson and of course how many physicals get sold, though Number 1’s was back in the Top 10 just a month or two back thanks to new vinyls so could be in for a Top 3 of high sales.

Great to see BeBe Rexha on this week and a return to the playlist for Faithless for the first time since like 2007 I'm guessing? (even though they are only credited to allow for the track to be released).

They been abit ruthless with the removals this wek. Miley off after 3 weeks and Alex Warren already off. Wonder if Taylor Swift will end up stalling on B List. No surprises at sombr, Lewis and Olivia straight to A List this week.

For the type of song it is, it's doing very well. Would love for 'Be Her' to be a hit too at some point.

They will most likely playlist tracks from the Raye album next week and playlist whatever takes off from it/the focus track. Agree on your thoughts on 'Imposter' Mango - it's really grown on me and is my favourite current track from the former One-D's so happy to see it remain on the playlist for another week. Great to see ANOTR on - such a summery anthem that! Otherwise not much else of interest for me this week.

Just to keeping an eye on 'Satisfaction Skank' plays and it appears to have been played twice today - once on early breakfast and once with Ricki Melvin and Charlie. That's in addition to 2 plays yesterday so is getting the eqivelant rotation to a B List so it seems.

I'm wondering if it's on the C List but not showing on the website?

Don’t see why they can’t be added. They’re at least 3 years old (with the exception to Fatboy Slim though it’s a mashup of 2 oldies anyway) so are not exactly current.

I’ve heard Fatboy Slim & Rolling Stones ‘Satisfaction Skank’ played a couple of times over the weekend. Wonder with Fatboy Slim headlining Friday night at the Big Weekend if this could get on the playlist soon?

What was the song David Guetta put out a few years ago with Anne-Marie that sampled Haddaway? This sounds like that.

In my view Kiss should have been rolled out by Bauer instead of Hits Radio. Kiss is more well known as a national brand, slicker and had bigger potential to wipe the floor with Capital. It wasn’t long ago they were in London but then went more specialist in their output and had their FM’s given to expand Hits Radio brand and the TV channel closed. As a result Kiss are now struggling so I guess they’re trying to regain some ground by trying to attract a more mainstream audience, though saying that the Kisstory side is still recording massive ratings.

Are we sure ‘Ordinary’ is actually playlisted and it’s not a just one off spot play or something? Did Kiss not play APT and BOAF when they was originally out? I’m pretty sure they did.

Agreed. Whatever happens Jamie needs to go, he clearly can’t commit to Going Home. If they have to keep him on somewhere, then maybe give him some pre-recorded specials or something would be better for him and the station.

I’m surprised to see Back To Friends added now. I’m surprised it wasn’t playlisted back in the summer when it was blowing up but I guess the focus from the label was on Undressed and then 12 to 12 so I suppose it’s nice to see it finally get some radio play at long last.

Didn't see Hayley Williams going A List. I wish 'Parachute' also went A list but was probably a busier time for new releases.

Surprised there's nothing on there from Sam Fender's Deluxe album that's out today - thought the record label would try and get another track out for radio from it. Good to see the Sleigh List back and will certainly keep the Kylie fans happy.
