  1. Great news! Hope it’s another banger!
  2. Amazing news! Looking forward to hearing it!
  3. It would be a shame for 'Little By Little' to miss out on the Top 10. I think it's the best single from the 'Heathen Chemistry' era. LBL going would mean there would only be two post 2000 tracks in the Top 10. :o
  4. I've been pondering over what I'm going to vote for next for the past few days and I'm going to have to regrettably go with 'Some Might Say' this time. So difficult now!
  5. Time Flies....1994 - 2009 was the second Greatest Hits compilation from Oasis. 'Stop The Clocks' came out in 2006 as the first Greatest Hits album, but only featured 18 tracks which were chosen by Noel Gallagher and came about at the end of their record contract with Sony. Time Flies...1994-2009 got released on the 14th June 2010 containing all 27 singles the band had released between 1994 and 2009 including 'Whatever and 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' which had never appeared on any previous Oasis studio album. 'Sunday Morning Call' is not listed on the official tracklisting, but appears as a hidden track on the end of Disc 2 making it track 14, so I've decided to allow it in the rate. 12. Roll With It - 26.09% Released as a single on the 14th August 1995, 'Roll With It' is the second single from the bands second studio album '(What's The Story) Morning Glory'. In a highly publicised chart battle with Blur's single "Country House" dubbed "The Battle of Britpop", "Roll with It" reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart losing out to Blur selling 216,000 copies to 274,000 copies sold of 'Country House'. In 2019, Noel Gallagher reflected on the battle on Dermot O'Leary's Reel Stories, describing both songs as "shit" and proclaiming that "'Roll with It' has never been played by anybody since the band split up". He suggested that a chart race between Oasis's "Cigarettes & Alcohol" and Blur's "Girls & Boys" would have had greater merit. 'Roll With It' is like several other Oasis songs, such as "Supersonic", in that it preaches the importance of being yourself. 'Roll With It' is the first of four tracks from the album '(What's The Story) Morning Glory' to be eliminated from this rate. DrARl0dzd-0 The chart so far..... 27. Who Feels Love? - 26.83% 26. 6. She should of gone to Jax Jones!
  7. Without doubt ‘Rather Be’

Songbird - 41.67% 'Songbird' was released as the fourth and final single from Oasis' fifth album 'Heathen Chemistry' and peaked at Number 3 in the UK Top 40. This was the first single to be released that was written by Liam Gallagher as a tribute to his then fiance Nicole Appleton, who also makes an appearance in the video. Registering 2 minutes 8 seconds it's the bands shortest single. 0KJgBkreAuw The chart so far..... 27. Who Feels Love? - 26.83% 26. Lord Don't Slow Me Down - 21.95% 25. 11. Re-Rewind... is a classic followed by ‘Woman Trouble’ which is just as good. More recently my favourite track he’s provided vocals for would be the Blonde one.
  12. That Gaga track is really good. Hope it can be a big hit!
  13. Not feeling this one. Think the first two were the best so far....
  14. This is great. Sounds like something from the 'Plastic Beach' era to me, which is my second favourite album of theirs! :)
  15. It’s ok. Think I’d enjoy it more if it were shorter tbh! Prefer the previous two tracks they put out this week! Is there another tomorrow or is this it?
  16. So this is what was meant by new music from Paloma Faith on Friday? She delivers on both ‘Changing’ and ‘Lullaby’ which are both big bops so hope this continues that trend!
  17. It’s a great track. Are you planning on seeing them live this year? Their doing a big gig up North Wales in the summer.
  18. Can’t believe I didn’t keep this updated! Third single:- ‘Don’t Let The Devil Take Another Day’ taNFAiK6Dxs Announced today - Fourth single:- ‘Hungover For You’ hlKRnRGME5o
  19. This is actually really good, enjoyed that. It'll sound amazing in the summer!
  20. This is getting tough now. Voted for 'Songbird' to go next. Great little track, but it is the weakest of what's left imo.

Shakermaker - 50% "Shakermaker" was the second ever single written by Noel Gallagher and released as a single in June 1994 peaking at Number 11 on the UK singles chart. It features on the album ' Definitely Maybe'. The melody for the verse was originally taken from "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony)" by Roger Cook, Roger Greenaway, Bill Backer and Billy Davis. An Oasis tribute band called No Way Sis released a cover version of "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" in the style of "Shakermaker", emphasising the similarity between the two songs. This cover reached #27 on the UK Singles Chart in December 1996. Oasis were sued over this similarity and were forced to change their composition. 3FpNw3286y8 The chart so far..... 27.
