ROUND 11:- Oasis - Time Flies....1994 - 2009 Survivor
This is getting tough now. Voted for 'Songbird' to go next. Great little track, but it is the weakest of what's left imo.

ROUND 11:- Oasis - Time Flies....1994 - 2009 Survivor
Time Flies....1994 - 2009 was the second Greatest Hits compilation from Oasis. 'Stop The Clocks' came out in 2006 as the first Greatest Hits album, but only featured 18 tracks which were chosen by Noel Gallagher and came about at the end of their record contract with Sony. Time Flies...1994-2009 got released on the 14th June 2010 containing all 27 singles the band had released between 1994 and 2009 including 'Whatever and 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' which had never appeared on any previous Oasis studio album. 'Sunday Morning Call' is not listed on the official tracklisting, but appears as a hidden track on the end of Disc 2 making it track 14, so I've decided to allow it in the rate. 14. Shakermaker - 50% "Shakermaker" was the second ever single written by Noel Gallagher and released as a single in June 1994 peaking at Number 11 on the UK singles chart. It features on the album ' Definitely Maybe'. The melody for the verse was originally taken from "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony)" by Roger Cook, Roger Greenaway, Bill Backer and Billy Davis. An Oasis tribute band called No Way Sis released a cover version of "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" in the style of "Shakermaker", emphasising the similarity between the two songs. This cover reached #27 on the UK Singles Chart in December 1996. Oasis were sued over this similarity and were forced to change their composition. 3FpNw3286y8 The chart so far..... 27. Who Feels Love? - 26.83% 26. Lord Don't Slow Me Down - 21.95% 25. Sunday Morning Call - 18.75% 24. Falling Down - 10.94%- 47.06% Tiebreak 23. She Is Love - 21.43% 22. Lyla - 19.05%] 21. One hit wonders who..
Stonebridge will always be remembered for 'Put 'Em High', but I much prefer their other Top 10 hit 'Take Me Away'. Mylo is probably only remembered for the 'Doctor Pressure' mashup whilst the original 'Drop The Pressure' went Top 20 along with 'Destroy Rock 'N' Roll' and 'In My Arms' was a Top 15 hit plus he had another Top 40 with 'Musclecars' Madison Avenue are probably only known for 'Don't Call Me Baby' when they had another Top 10 with 'Who The Hell Are You' and another Top 40 hits. The Fray could fall into this too. Everyone knows 'How To Save A Life', but how many would remember 'Cable Car (Over My Head) and they had a few other Top 40 hits too. I'd also say The Fratellis. 'Chelsea Dagger' was their big hit, but 'Whistle For The Choir' was a massive radio hit as well as another Top 10 hit for them too as well as a couple of other Top 40 hits they had.

The Hindu Times - 41.67% Released in April 2002, The Hindu Times was the first single from the bands fifth studio album 'Heathen Chemistry' and became their sixth Number 1 hit single in the UK singles chart. The title has very little to do with the song lyrics, which are more in the vein of Definitely Maybe's "Rock 'n' Roll Star". Noel got the name "The Hindu Times" from a T-shirt he saw in a charity shop. It has been speculated that the title refers to the main riff's similarity to Indian music in sound, sounding as if it were played on a sitar. Gallagher himself says that it is because he had already named the song before any lyrics were written for it. The Hindu Times" was scheduled to be played during the Parade of Nations at the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony as an example of British music,[6] but the Parade took much less time than expected, so the song was not used. All Around The World - 38.10% Next out goes the longest song ever recorded by Oasis, 'All Around The World', which was released as a single in 1998. Even though the track featured on the bands third studio album, 'Be Here Now', it was one of the first songs ever written by Noel Gallagher back in 1992 but didn't want to record it until the band could afford to produce the song in the extravagant manner in which it was to eventually appear. The track reached Number 1 in the UK singles charts. bdT8ixdxPX4 The chart so far..... 27. Who Feels Love? - 26.83% 26. Lord Don't Slow Me Down - 21.95% 25. Sunday Morning Call - 18.75% 24.
