Tune of the weekend is Hozier - Nobody’s Soldier.

Great to see Calvin Harris climb Top 10. Wonder if it can hang around given that it’s pretty much reliant on streams - similar to The Weeknd’s Highlights.

It’s only 2 weeks

Coming 23rd August according to Coldplay’s Twitter/X

Right course of action to pause Taylor Swift songs from the main stations for a few days in mark of respect for the friends, family and the local communities affected in this sad event. Obviously Capital TV does what it says on the tin and there’s no way round that as they’ve committed themselves to the station until she’s done her last London show at least, but is there in the meantime if anyone still wants their Taylor fix. Most stations tend to adapt their playlists from time to time in reaction to major events whether they’re sad or happy and even to react to the weather.

Just premiered on Radio 1 as hottest record ‘Ibizacore’ R4aspX0COfXpULg

Must be a backhander going on there. Heart very very rarely Insta-add a track and if they do it’ll be a big name.

Now 118 artwork and track list taken from a fan page on Facebook who are usually very reliable. @1805984303664267576 Out July 26. Love that artwork - very summery!

Both Coldplay and Eminem both on this weeks playlist getting 25 years of Radio 1 support. Great to see.

Urgh! Can we please not have the return of the 3 Lions!

Confirmation the albums out on October 4. @1802660596283814302

Birds of a Feather too big to ignore now (and is far better than Lunch). Great to see some dance tracks added for the summer including Kelli Leigh. :)

1. Stan 2. Lose Yourself 3. Without Me 4. Real Slim Shady 5. The Monster 6. Just Lose It 7. Houdini 8. Like Toy Soldiers 9. River 10. Smack That 11. Godzilla

A teaser of ‘First Time’ is on the bands socials. @1799095939753525497

To be fair it would have had an extra 2 weeks on top of that had they not canned the normal playlist to make way for the Big Weekend playlist.

Capital also played 'Birds of a Feather' this morning, so looks like radio is more leaning towards that than 'Lunch'.

They may not have had a proper edit done for the radio in time to play on the First Look. Think we'll have to wait and see, but they were still supporting Eminem during his previous era. I should think 1Xtra will play it even if the main station ignore it, but I don't think R1 are as quick to drop artists like they were 10 years ago.

Love Taylor Swift? Capital have launched Capital (Taylor’s Version) - a pop up station playing nothing but Taylor Swift to celebrate the UK leg of her Era’s tour. https://www.capitalfm.com/news/music/taylor...7jrE8qowpSinHZ5

How’s Becky Hill doing with her album?

Is 'I Can Do It With A Broken Heart' the official second single then?

Banger alert! Love 'Multiply'.

All for good reason too.

New artwork on their sicaps has been uploaded. Wonder if they’ll preview new music at R1’s Big Weekend on Sunday?

Is it a single the record company are focusing on or a GRAT?

Just heard Dasha’s Austin on Heart so must have added that.
