Cool, I guess. Don't care about the anime or its source but the collab sounds interesting on paper (but might be nothing super special after hearing in full).

While this has been a problem for a long time, this is for me by far the biggest reason recent Now compilations do not quite reflect the hits of "their times" and such. I'm liking the 2023 list by the glimpse of it.

Not sure what to feel about this being a departure from the electronic and highly upbeat stuff I enjoyed a lot from their last three albums. It is not bad as a whole though, still more enjoyable than the 2006-2009 eras (which reminded me of when listening to the album). My least favourite is strangely the title track. Lyrics are a bit lacking for the theme. The opening track is great. Made me think of some indie albums/tracks in early 2010s like Bon Iver or Alt-J or Coldplay 'Midnight'. I can't quite pinpoint well what music I am thinking of.

I am also one of those that thought some tracks blend with some others. Not exactly a bad or a good thing. That means though I didn't try hard enough to send a standout track. :P

Well done to everyone! I guess that's that. I cannot be certain I'll be back in the next PFSC. I thought this theme was super cool and I got ideas of what to enter. I mean, I don't have to force myself to participate in a lot of contests (it can be hard to be comfortable/confident about my choices).

'Cold Reactor' sounds nice, based on the live recordings I saw on YouTube. New album sooner than I expected is an even nicer thing to know.

Almost thought it's a song fitting for a... suggested theme.

Little late in realising this but I think ONE MORE TIME is their best "new" track released as a single. It's very blink-182 but also grown-up and more importantly it has a strong relatibility factor. And also no swear words.
