I've not been through all the posts but I for one do not want this to happen. I like our charts being based solely on sales. The Billboard Chart with airplay confuses me and this seems like a step in that direction. Um... I'm really unsure. They can just create their separate charts and see how it goes.

It's marketed well. They've basically tried to pretend the previous flop album never happened.

I don't think they wrote very much of it as it was originally recorded by Leona Lewis under a slightly different name

They've deleted Wordshaker from download stores as though it never existed. Haha. They are selling the album on the success of Ego really. I doubt anybody will really notice since they're more of a singles act. This one will probably disappear quite quickly but they'll get a hit with Higher as that's possibly the best thing they've ever recorded.

They'll be #2/#3 by the weekend and then I can see it falling quite quickly. It didn't deserve number one really. Their next single, Higher, is far superior and I actually wouldn't mind if that gave them their first #1. It could still happen since their albums don't sell too well.

Sugababes - 0.14m It should probably be noted that Girls Aloud, Sugababes and Destiny's Child all released a number of singles during a time when single sales were at all time lows before the introduction of downloads and so a number of their bigger hits will have suffered anyway. That said, the comparison is still pretty fair.

Yeah and they are ahead on singles averages too (just comparing these two). Girls Aloud: 0.18 per single Sugababes: 0.14 per single For me the Spice Girls were a phenomenon that will never ever ever be matched. Their entire presence defined much of the 90s. However, GA are my favourites.

Stupidly excited for this album. I really need to see them live when they come over here. That song sounds pretty good from what I can hear.

How Just Cant Get Enough has any votes is beyond me! :o

Everyone's saying Jason Mraz but I hear Will Young. His voice sounds so similar to his at times. I'm not entirely sure how it will do but its quite an interesting style. It's the sort of thing where it sells the album more than becoming a huge hit itself.
