Katy Perry - E.T (Ft. Tinie Tempah) Predictions
The rap is bloody awful! Top 5 without it.

Singles chart faces digital shake-up
I've not been through all the posts but I for one do not want this to happen. I like our charts being based solely on sales. The Billboard Chart with airplay confuses me and this seems like a step in that direction. Um... I'm really unsure. They can just create their separate charts and see how it goes.

The Wanted - All Time Low
I don't think they wrote very much of it as it was originally recorded by Leona Lewis under a slightly different name

iTunes Chart: August 2010 (II)
They'll be #2/#3 by the weekend and then I can see it falling quite quickly. It didn't deserve number one really. Their next single, Higher, is far superior and I actually wouldn't mind if that gave them their first #1. It could still happen since their albums don't sell too well.

Best Selling Girlband: UK Sales
Just done the main acts but this is average per single/abum. ALBUMS 01. Spice Girls - 2.51m per album 02. PCD - 0.77m 03. Girls Aloud - 0.62m 04. Destiny's Child - 0.58m 05. Eternal - 0.54m 06. = All Saints - 0.52m 06. = Sugababes - 0.52m 08. B*Witched - 0.49m 09. Atomic Kitten - 0.40m 10. The Saturdays - 0.21m SINGLES 01. Spice Girls - 0.47m per single 02. All Saints - 0.30m 03. B*Witched - 0.28m 04. PCD - 0.20m 05. Eternal - 0.19m 06. Girls Aloud - 0.18m 07. The Saturdays - 0.17m 08. Destiny's Child - 0.164m 09. Atomic Kitten - 0.16m 10. Sugababes - 0.14m It should probably be noted that Girls Aloud, Sugababes and Destiny's Child all released a number of singles during a time when single sales were at all time lows before the introduction of downloads and so a number of their bigger hits will have suffered anyway. That said, the comparison is still pretty fair.

Best Selling Girlband: UK Sales
Yeah and they are ahead on singles averages too (just comparing these two). Girls Aloud: 0.18 per single Sugababes: 0.14 per single For me the Spice Girls were a phenomenon that will never ever ever be matched. Their entire presence defined much of the 90s. However, GA are my favourites.

2010 // NEW ALBUM // "Hands All Over"
Stupidly excited for this album. I really need to see them live when they come over here. That song sounds pretty good from what I can hear.

Demi Lavato? Um... no thank you. I don't even know what I want from this album. I'll just leave her to it as I've loved them all so far.

Best Saturdays Single So Far?
How Just Cant Get Enough has any votes is beyond me! :o

Olly Murs - Please Don't Let Me Go (debut single)
Everyone's saying Jason Mraz but I hear Will Young. His voice sounds so similar to his at times. I'm not entirely sure how it will do but its quite an interesting style. It's the sort of thing where it sells the album more than becoming a huge hit itself.

Diana Vickers - The Boy Who Murdered Love
Eugh, this song deserves to be so much bigger than it's going to be and the video is so cool. It's such a shame that the record buying public are a bit docile. I do blame radio for picking up on it a bit late because it's one of the best songs of the year in my opinion. I wish it would got Top 10 and save the album but both are going to continue to under perform. I can see it now! Such a waste :(

Mcfly 'Party Girl' Out NOW! (PLUS BANNED VIDEO)
Whoever said it's better than JLS is correct because The Club Is Alive is one of the worst songs I've heard all year. I think it's an interesting new direction for them and I'd love to know how it will be performed cos they are a band with instruments yet this screams dance routine haha. They're looking all toned and tanned like a typical boy band so it's gonna be cool I reckon. Whilst I loved their first two albums, I think they had a lot of low points later in their career and a few of their #1s were just forgetable rubbish. They do have some decent album tracks though and I loved Falling In Love.

Eggnog escaped the rule last year as well. It was supposed to be that they couldn't release an album before the winner I thought. Who knows?
