  1. Yeah, I haven't seen anything about My Love (My Love!) in my timeline yet. I don't think there's anything in particular that's taken off in social media yet.
  2. oh this potato again
  3. Indeed and I think this is more likely - I imagine that the working title to it might've been If You Wanna and it's easy to see Emma saying If You Do instead. As for Janet possibly working with them... I'm sure the idea was thrown around in the studio when they were with Jam & Lewis, but probably didn't lead to anything.
  4. Exactly - and I keep saying this; getting a flash-in-the-pan high position in week one says nothing about a track being a "hit" or not. Personally, I think Leigh-Anne would've done better in the long run if she had held off on physicals to week two since she would've had a climb (streaming was okay-ish but not mega-strong); it might've incouraged a bit more radio and curiousity plays. We all know Kylie could probably manipulate herself into getting high positions by a thousand formats tossed out on week one - it's longevity that matters. The fact that Tension would've gone top 40 on streaming alone is very promising.
  5. If she ends up getting an album out I'm sure everyone will opine what singles she should've gone for :P
  6. I personally prefer Don't Say Love, but I think My Love is perfectly serviceable too. I tend to agree that the verses fall a bit flat for me.

    Massive pop anthems era incoming?
  8. It's a shame they didn't send her on a European promo tour because it does feel like Padam Padam could've taken off in several markets with just a bit of a push. Oh well.
  9. No, 4 Minutes and Give It 2 Me were released just before she turned 50.
  10. Now they need to go with a feature / special single mix for single #3 :P
  11. That's great! I didn't even consider the fact that it might re-enter due to her doing a signing.
  12. IIRC, the song used an uncleared sample and I think radio stations were eventually barred from playing Addictive when it was ongoing. I assume it really hurt anything else they tried to release. ETA: she did get a follow up - a feature with R Kelly called "The Truth"; only it was released as R Kelly's first round of charges for the child sexual abuse video / images surfaced... so yeah, it seems like bar the initial hit of Addictive, she had pretty rotten luck.
