Why would there be a version without the B-side?

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the normal version and the "alternative mix" on the single? It is 9 seconds longer than the original but besides that cannot work out the difference!

Yeah, they use that "Breaking News" bar for anything, I actually think its rarer to see the normal news ticker, everytime I've switched on Sky in the past few weeks there has been some sort of "Breaking News". I wonder if they'll announce Joe...? Or is that wishful thinking?

I think Joe has it in the bag, the momentum was definitely in his favour and with 'Super Saturday' and all, unless the RATM group seriously up their download rate there would have been no way they could catch up.

There was a queue of 2000 this morning for 500 wristbands at 8am! Far more this evening when he actually arrived, South Shields was supposedly crammed to the rafters. But the sales figures are likely to have been mirrored across the NE as a whole.

On North East Tonight just now, it said 8000 copies of Joe’s single were sold at HMV in South Shields today, expect to sell 20,000 by Saturday. Figures look immense! If a quarter of that success is repeated in 100 other stores/supermarkets, he will have sold over 200,000 copies today alone!
