The Top 100 songs does look a little "reset" in a way - Crazy back at Number 5, Maneater's in the top 10 and Rudebox has gone down to 90th place

I don't think that's it, otherwise Fall Out Boy, Kaiser Chiefs, Ordinary Boys and Bedouin Soundclash would be on there... They've all gone up the charts with their latest singles, and they've all re-released, or are about to re-release, something (except Nerina Pallot as far as I know).

Anything to do with re-releasing / remixing a single?

Why does it take a TV commerical to make a song more popular?? I bet artists salivate when the ad men present them with a big fat cheque to use their music.. :rolleyes:

I ask this question because I thought we might have had a repeat of the 'Love Generation' 2-track CD controversy, except perhaps the OCC hadn't noticed this time... It's just that I don't see much difference between the formats of 'Deja Vu' and 'Love Generation', what exactly is it that caused LG to be disqualified where DV isn't?
