What format do you prefer
CD. I asked this question a couple of years ago and back then the concensus was CDs, good to see this still the case!

Travis-where are they
They'll be back soon, I'm sure. They were in the papers a few weeks ago, at Downing Street delivering a giant Post-It Note to Number 10 to remind Blair there's a lot more work to do. [ http://uk.news.launch.yahoo.com/dyna/artic...tml&e=l_news_dm ]

Hi Mikey! Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it. 01 (05) Hands - The Raconteurs I love this track, and lately I can't seem to stop playing their album it has some great songs on it. The album really is fantastic. :) 03 (01) Steady As She Goes - The Raconteurs One of my favourite single of the year, but peaked at No.2, in my chart earlier this year. Probably my favourite single of the year, it has to be said! 07 (23) Broke - Captain I love thier new single Glorious its awesome I need to check out their new song. 18 (53) Blue Orchid - White Stripes (2RE) 12 months on chart  still on chart Had a bit of a revival for me, I still can't get enough of this song! 24 (09) Broken Boy Soldier - The Raconteurs I hope this is their next single, its awesome, actually their album never bores me Great song - hopefully next single :D 40 (**) Sewn - The Feeling My favourite single of the year, and their album is truly a masterpeice, another top album of 2006 Only just entered my chart, even though I have enjoyed it for a while now ^_^ A great chart, you seem to like The Raconteurs a lot like me. I think Jack is concentrating more on this project, I think White Stripes seems to be dead in the water now. Man, I love the Raconteurs - just loving the album so much. I believe the White Stripes will return eventually (as well as The Greenhornes I'd imagine)

NUMBER 1/twice or more
James Masterton also says a few words about this 'feat' in this week's Chart Commentary. Puff Daddy - I'll Be Missing You went 1-1-1-2-1-1-1, when Oasis claimed a week at the top in 1997.

Kasabian Empire
Hopefully it'll maintain a steady run in the top 20 in the weeks leading up to the album release - it will presumably receive more airplay as the weeks go by.
-
Fave Dance/Electronica Albums...
Agree with Shamen, KLF and Prodigy albums, + I'd also suggest Daft Punk's 'Homework'.
-
Christina Question!?
Still largely waiting for physical formats to be brought forward nearer to when tracks start being promoted... heard Kasabian's record company are trying this next week.
-
Missy Elliot - Respect me. Greatest hits
Surprised if it's UK only. I suppose if there was a US release it would include 'Take Away'.
-
System Of A Down on the rocks?
Soldier Side video is doubtful, Pimpollo. Hope all that stuff about Ozzfest were just rumours, they've been together for 11 years so perhaps a few years off will recharge the batteries.
-
The Flaming Lips - The W.A.N.D
Fantastic, brilliant, one of my favourite songs right now. Keep playing the album. :( Actually those "indie kids" can keep their generic bland (I too find myself using those words) stuff, when the rest of us can enjoy bands like the Flaming Lips - here's hoping the WAND finds a place in the top 40 this Sunday.
-
UK Chart Commentary from James Masterton
Paul Masterson is the brainchild of Yomanda, a dance act who had a couple of hits in 1999-2000.

Fantastic - looks like everything is there. Nothing missing. Hopefully it'll do well

Sean "Diddy" Combs - Press Play era
I was wondering when his next album would be out - it's been a while since the last one proper. Sounds interesting though. Has this got a UK release date? And yes, tigerboy, I've seen the ad!
