  1. Well it's already rising up the charts, Number 63 this week. (129-86-84-63-) There's something to be said for music in adverts having a much higher profile than normal radio/TV airplay

That's true - Orson, Notorious BIG, Shakira and Sandi Thom have had #2 hits "progress" to number one this year.
  5. In that case Nizlopi qualifies, as the original release of JCB Song only reached #160. Before charting with King Of My Castle in 1999, Wamdue Project had a number of releases (including the original version of King...)

It'll be several years until we get to the #1000th number 2 then.
  7. Thanks... wow - 22 actual climbers this year already (13 all of last year), whether or not downloads has been the cause I don't know.
  8. I don't remember them splitting up on a particular date.

Love his work! fave 5 · "The Hardest Button to Button" - The White Stripes (2003) · "Behind" - Lacquer (2003) · "Fell In Love With A Girl" - The White Stripes (2002) · "Let Forever Be" - The Chemical Brothers (1999) · "Army of Me" - Björk (1995)
  11. I sure hope these new Super Jewel Boxes don't break like the traditional ones do, I keep knocking my CDs over :(
  12. As if Orson - No Tomorrow has been deleted! Sure that was in last week. No point in deleting it, seeing as not only has it left the top 40, but Bright Idea has already been and gone.

I like her. Songs like "I'll Be", "Big Bad Mamma" and "Hot Spot" are favourites.

She's still going. Her new band "Jane Wails" are due to release an album early next year.. I took these pics a couple of weeks ago: http://www.flickr.com/photos/richcam/sets/72157594171834285/
