Then Cumulonimbia also lost their streak in BJSC 165 so Kathaldazia moved up to 2nd and Aeroche to 3rd, which remained the case up to last contest (but of course we have another change in the podium this month with Kathaldazia now losing their streak).

I really had no idea what to expect from this Lorde comeback chart-wise considering her last album was not exactly met with glowing praise, but then the 'Girl, so confusing' remix felt well timed to give her a bit of a boost of good will / hype ahead of starting a new album cycle. A top 10 debut on Spotify from a Thursday release is brilliant anyway, I'm sure it'll drop a fair bit in the next few days as almost all big new releases do of late (although hopefully New Music Friday will cushion the second day drop) but it certainly bodes well for it to be her 2nd highest charting song ever and hopefully contending to be a 2nd top 10 hit if it has any legs at all. I do think it sounds much more like a hit than anything off 'Solar Power', feels like 'Green Light' 2.0 to me really (and I mean that in a positive way, I thought 'Solar Power' was an overhated album but it was definitely a step down from the quality of her first two so I am not at all going to complain about her running back to the 'Melodrama' sound even if it's a tad derivative). Love to see 'Ribs' making an appearance too! <3 (and 'Girl, so confusing' is back at #148 as well, first time it's been in the top 200 since the remix album release day).
