[/late] YTD update (see here for previous positions) Kluminican Republic jump out into a stronger lead while Bøtanikkä's win pushes them up from #7 to #2, then there are 3 countries tied on points for 3rd to 5th place right now (I normally don't bother specifying the tiebreaks in these updates but they are always broken as in regular contests first by number of votes then by 18s etc., so Jadakissnia are currently 3rd with 100 votes, 5 18s and 8 15s, Neliönoir 4th with 100 votes, 5 18s and 5 15s and Cor Lupus 5th with 98 votes). Bronzil and Greenfroze both climb into the top 10 in place of Fljótavík and Ajanaeda. Well didn't quite vote for the winner in the end (was a commiseration at least) but 3 of my top 4 finishing in the top 5 so that's great to see, and a further 3 that I voted for in the lower half of the top 10! Yumi Zouma came 22nd out of 42 in BJSC so 14th out of 25 is more or less exactly the same result adjusting for the size of the field (i.e. being just below the exact midtable mark both times), the consistency! Disappointing to see GIFT and L'Impératrice down in the bottom 5 with me, genuinely might have predicted the latter to be a win contender so really not sure what happened there I suppose thanks to Cow for blocking me from the wooden spoon but yeah no surprise at all at the bad result this time, I'd say it might have been better suited to a different contest but I think it's just a song that isn't connecting with people like I wanted it to unforch! I'll just take my bronze medal from Doctor B and run with it x Thanks for the hosting Jade, was fun to read all the little blurbs with each vote Looking forward to a potential Rich hosting next time! And yes all of those entries were sent by who I guessed as well - the last 5 voters (or non-voters) having fairly distinct tastes from each other x Didn't vote for any of those but the Turnover song was pretty good and another one that grew on me on second listen. Camp Claude being Rich makes a lot of sense - I wasn't sure the spoken word part gelled that well with the rest of the song on first listen but it clicked with me more on my second listen albeit still just missed out on my votes. Ooh at Yndling getting up there now o:

I think 'Mario's Café' is my favourite of the Saint Etienne songs that have shown up in the anon contests, would expect it to do pretty well so surprised at Mango's post earlier in the thread
