2 K-Pop soloists, Drake and J Hus all making it into a monthly round, it's more likely than you think! And really close to a late stage Jess Glynne song making it in there too. I expect that Troye Sivan landslide is fairly likely to hold for the actual vote though x

Thanks to all who voted in the (belated) October rounds of this poll series. Time for the monthly round.
To participate in this please post in this thread with a ranking of all the songs using the Eurovision voting system, i.e.:
+12 your favourite song
+10 your 2nd favourite song
+8 ...
+7 ...
+6 ...
+5 ...
+4 ...
+3 ...
+2 your 9th favourite song
+1 your 10th favourite song
Please make sure you have heard all songs before voting, there aren't many of them and you should know most if not all of them already and we should have weeded out the obvious deadwood in the weekly rounds! A handy Spotify playlist is provided below if needed x
Here are the songs that made the cut this month:
Charli XCX and Sam Smith - In The City
Drake - Rich Baby Daddy (feat. Sexyy Red and SZA)
Jax Jones, D.O.D and Ina Wroldsen - Won't Forget You
JENNIE - You & Me
Joel Corry - Hey DJ
Jorja Smith - Feelings (feat. J Hus)
Jung Kook - 3D (feat. Jack Harlow)
Noah Kahan - Stick Season
PinkPantheress - Mosquito
Troye Sivan - One Of Your Girls
And here's this month's Spotify playlist, clocking in at 32 minutes and 14 seconds:
The 3 songs with the most points will qualify for the yearly round while 4th will go to a playoff round with a chance to also make the yearly round and 5th and below will be eliminated.
I meant to put this up on Tuesday to leave open for about 2 weeks but was sidetracked by BJSC and then just fell into a bit of a loop of procrastination again  but here it is now, will still stick to the planned deadline of Monday 18th so about one and a half weeks to vote B-)

Bow down to Basshunter. One I always expected to have resurgence beyond it's low level Top 40 peak in 2008 but alas it hasn't. Radio 1 still spin it every now and again though.
Impakt of this being posted in this thread twice xo
~
The mention of a Radio 1 chart campaign has reminded me of this, not a Christmas song of course but it was one of the earliest download era campaigns for Christmas #1, predating RATM by 2 years (although it only got to #31 sadly):
Really gets me in the festive spirit :cheeseblock: (it is a tune though in all seriousness)
((and it does have a Santa in the video ))

Three at once for Taylor's ever growing list of certified singles - 'tolerate it' my fave of the 3
Also great to see the certifications for 'Baby It's You' and 'HOTEL LOBBY (Unc & Phew)' plus the usual smattering of random older tracks like 'Party Hard', 'I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You' and 'Izzo (H.O.V.A.)' *.* + 'Something In The Orange' going gold we also love to see.

Thank you very much for the mods team to checking at it. May I suggest something?
I would leave it at it. The error was not intentionally and Callum apologised for it and that‘s enough for me. ;)
I don‘t really want to have a free ticket to the next final, I would like to take part in the semis and earn the ticket to the final. (Also just for the excitement too if it gets through or not). Also I have a new song to enter and I’d rather want to send that to the next competition.
And at the end Callum did a good job as a host
Fair then! Apologies again for the mixup, hopefully better luck next time.
I did wonder how I was able to qualify with a deduction and perform so poorly in the final! :lol:Do I get to keep my qualifying streak? :teresa:
You do, the Q streak update is blind to controversies B-) (although might stick an asterisk on it x)
Still outrageous that Rosa didn't do better in the first place tbh -_-

Nicki has 2 songs showing on Apple so far ('Are You Gone Already' at #72 and 'Barbie Dangerous' at #90), no new entries showing in the 101-200 section on Kworb but may just be lagging.
No sign of Jack/Dave yet so not looking like an instant #1 so far, I did think when I found out it's being promoted as a Lyrical Lemonade song that might mean it's a bit more of a lowkey release.
No Spotify update for today yet.

Frankly if that Creator Universe thing really ends up going to #1 then I welcome the death of the Christmas #1 as an institution, can we have a break from the useless 'influencer' charity covers for at least one year please x
(I'd be inclined to say it won't get there as a bunch of random TikTok influencers doesn't seem like it'll inspire the same kind of iTunes flurry as LadBaby's army of Facebook mums and this single doesn't seem to have the """""novelty""""" angle but who knows x)
-
I can see why Rollo initially didn't want to give points to anything other than the correct answers :P
For what it's worth I think the 1 point allocations were mostly fair (I think I'd have given one for 'Night Fever' too but that's about it), I certainly don't think any of the other guesses fit 'better' than the correct ones.
edit: maybe 'Billie Jean' too actually, that explanation was worth a chuckle

Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday 2
in R&B and Hip-Hop
Well she is sort of on it in the same way Frank Ocean was on Drake's album - it's just a pitched up sample on the first track. Namely of 'when the party's over'. I'll stick with the original thanks x
(have heard bits of the tracks from a reaction video and there are way too many samples on here and most of them sounded pretty bad, there were a few songs that sounded decent here and there though, I think 'Fallin 4 U' was the main one that stood out for me. 'Everybody' is a Jersey club style sample of Junior Senior which I can't decide if I love or hate - I think it's better than the last time Nicki and Uzi collabed over a classic sample at least lol)
