Now coming to add at least 3 to my list this year - going to see Billie Eilish and Lana Del Rey (the latter hopefully second time lucky after I was meant to see her in 2020 but got cancelled x), both of whom were sent to BJSC before they blew up, and the former has announced support acts today and my date is getting 5 time entrants Magdalena Bay

I will be checking the receipts if the person who entered Yumi Zouma was in BJSC when I sent that song there!! (in all seriousness, do not mind seeing it getting a second song contest outing as it's a gorgeous track, will only need to beat 4 other songs here to technically get a higher finishing position than it did in BJSC x) I think there's only one other song here I've heard and that was via listening to the whole AURORA album, I don't remember all the individual songs from it all that well but thought it was a very strong album overall and that is one of the songs I saved from it so I know I was a fan! As always a fair few other artists I'm familiar with too (looking forward to hearing the NewDad song as I really enjoyed their latest album, I see this is an older song from them) but a good number there that are completely new to me. Saint Etienne becoming the new Depeche Mode / Pet Shop Boys in popping up in every contest on the site x I think I'd also prefer to do the listenthrough for this on Monday but I'd be there for either.

Got a song in earlier today x These contests naturally started to slow down when they started having to share space in this forum with Nuggets but I do think it would be nice if we at least had more than one of each of those per year as it seems to be these days! It is weird to think that Club Bizarre has almost caught up to the number of editions Unknown Pleasures has had when the latter has been running for so much longer (the first UP was in mid 2010 vs. the first CB in late 2017). ((also BJSC spinoffs have not ceased, the subforum is just a bit of a wild west with no schedule, we can have more of them if we have ideas x Could probably go for a new Worldvision some time soon x))

I was a bit sad that you changed your entry Addy as it would have been iconic having 2 artists with nearly the exact same name in the contest x (although it has happened before with 2 different artists called Kato in BJSC 55, and we also nearly had 2 artists called TATYANA sent at once just a couple of months ago). And they've all ended up in my semi coincidentally - we love to see Model/Actriz and Momma both making their second appearances, plus Beth Ditto making her second as a solo artist (third including a Gossip entry) + Minuit Machine making a third *.* Will be watching all of their results with great intrigue x Think there are only 3 songs that I've already heard (unless there are some others that were in PJSC that I've forgotten about which is often the case) and I like all of those 3, gotta give the early hype to Burial again tho obvz. edit: checked and there are another 2 songs I've heard from PJSC (4 songs in total that have been in PJSC before, plus 2 that are in the current contest there as well) but I didn't rate either of them so will see if they make more impression now x
