Well there are returning countries in basically every contest! Just usually returning from much shorter absences :magic: (quickly checking with some spreadsheet magic, there were a few countries returning after a year or more of absence around the time you joined - Ajanaeda after 46 contests in BJSC 162, Bhangra after 11 in BJSC 163, Holland-Oats and Chestoria after 28 and 24 respectively in BJSC 164 and Daehun after 37 in BJSC 165. This is the first one since then though).

Going to quickly prepare today's session now oops - was going to do this last night as usual but was just too tired. Almost as if it's a bad idea to leave it so last minute every week :kink: I realise I forgot again to post last week's poll so I will just put up two polls tonight x

My iOS finally updated itself the other day (I generally don't bother keeping it updated oop but it will occasionally do so on its own) so I'm now getting this on my phone. I did figure out a consistent workaround though, if I open my BuzzJack bookmark and then just manually change 'https' to 'http' in the URL it will then work and let me click around the site as long as I keep the app and tab open. Unfortunately I keep forgetting to do this because I usually swipe away the tab and app without even thinking about it when I'm done using it :kink:

Ooh we love to see a Republic of Adonia comeback x I bookmarked an artist to check out for a potential BJSC entry a few weeks ago and after listening to a few of their songs I think I've found the one - tapping into a micro-genre/community (?) that I hope will make Iz proud :jump:

I didn't care much for the previous Julien Baker/TORRES single but this one is much better. Also liking this Manics song more than their last single. 'Besties' is certainly a different sound from BC,NR and doesn't hit for me quite as much as the stuff from their last album off the bat but still good and I can see it growing on me.

Well you did still do better than I did when I sent Sleater-Kinney to the PopJustice contest where poor brave 'Untidy Creature' languished second from last with only 17 points :nocheer: Glad you did at least qualify and got a bit of a late surge to avoid coming last, we shall manifest a big Bronzil hit to come x

I also decided to just vote for my top 5 and my list was almost identical to Jade's, taste x (just Coldplay instead of Liberty X)

Well that is closer on the vote count than I'd have guessed! Congrats Cody (assuming I don't end up overturning this win when I double check the votes later, and let's face it if that was going to happen to anyone it'd be Cody purely for the chaos), not quite starting the year with a winner that I voted for but close enough, only missed out on my votes by 1 place and was tied in points with my 15 pointer! Will comment on the rest after updating my spreadsheet but a nice comfortable top 20 to start the year I'm rather happy with, 4 places higher than my first entry of last year and a higher points total too. Officially beating all the odds *.*
