Where/when did you ask about this? I probably just missed it or forgot about it, it'd take me about 10 seconds to copy and paste all of this from my spreadsheet. (and all the entries are documented already in the Songs of BJSC thread x) On a related note I noticed when updating that thread the other day that we've just passed 10,000 total entries all time! The chronological 10,000th entry (counting the AQ as the first song of this contest, then semi 1 then semi 2 in running order) was actually Dobago's anniversary entry so that's quite neat

Pavi/Vülker weren't the only hosts that disappeared while hosting, the short lived Brechtoria (Bradders) did the same also leaving their contest in limbo for several days before he resurfaced and sent the votes over to someone else to finish hosting the contest. I still see him lurking on the site now but he's only posted 3 times since that ill fated hosting attempt.

Yes the Slinkee Minx thing is not so much that people could change their entry mid contest, just that confirmations were originally done in public so everyone knew when people changed their entries, but you still couldn't change after voting started. The one time I do recall a song being swapped out after the semis started was when someone sent a remix of Major Lazer's 'Keep It Goin' Louder' and it initially evading notice that the original version had already been sent in an earlier contest! And also to add a third example of Pavita's hosting shenanigans (albeit from the same contest as the one Addy posted about), he initially posted an edited version of the final set of votes in BJSC 61 to make it appear that I won before being lol jk and posting the real results where I came 2nd. Luckily I did win for real only half a year later so the mental scarring was only temporary xx (love this thread, am sure I could come up with many more things to post in it, we love a good lore drop x)

Think 'Alone' might have been the only song I nominated that's got AQ status? Better than nothing! Rather surprised at 'Girl, so confusing' being Charli's top song but at her retaining so many AQs in general. Great to see 'Starburster', 'i like the way you kiss me' and 'Not Like Us' through to the semis as well *.*

Have been a bit preoccupied with BJSC results but I will get this done shortly (made it through voting in all of the years again this year woo, I made a Spotify playlist of all of the songs I voted for in the 2023 edition, will need to give it an update with 2023-24 songs I've voted for now and any others from 2015-2022 which weren't already on that playlist). It didn't help that this music video was released before 'Drums Of Death' and didn't have any clear indication that part was a completely separate song and not just an intro bit for the music video!

Yay Flynnonda <3 on a really strong run of entries at the moment so great to see them getting a decent Q streak going. Good tune from Aelandor too. Fruit entries all being left to be revealed late

Oop New Lexico really did need that AQ then (I am firmly not the target audience but 18 points seems shockingly low for that)

Roxy Music still didn't make my votes but they jumped up from iirc 24th to 16th in my ranking after relistening, so would quite like to have seen it qualify after all but alas still not to be. (I will now remember how it goes because part of the vocals remind me of the melody from the ikonik Trifoski-core Christmas anthem 'Fire' by The Residents - Santa dog's a Jesus foetus )

Third time lucky qualifying for Rochelle Jordan as well, yay. And I enjoyed the Balu Brigada song so a good blind pick from Dandy x

Ooh great for both of those, I don't think I'd have called Yuko qualifying and would not have been 100% confident on Pendulum either (muuuuch better than the song you used as your 50th entry from them Dobbo!) - hopefully that's boding well for NOMELON NOLEMON as well then.

Ooh gracias random.org not making me wait! Was not feeling too worried about this entry after a good response on SyncTube but it's nice to have the confirmation of qualifying with something I plucked from a very obscure corner of the Internet as the last couple I tried (Crushes Bones and Imane El Halouat) fell just short. Good stuff from Bambie Thug to qualify alongside as well and also yay for WORSTIEHub who are on a good run at the moment x Was very confused by Jupiterdonia DNQ predictions as this seems like a safe hit to my ears.

Without taking the time to double check, I think the very next song after you posted this might have answered your question ('Rein Me In' started 86-6 - I forget if it was charting solely on consumption of the solo version for its first week or if the Olivia version was a late midweek release).

Aw 21st for The Books then, that sucks a bit, though it was definitely the one of my top 10 of semi 1 I thought had the least chance of qualifying so cannot act shocked, getting 9/10 through is good going again. Glad Lookylion's DNQ streak has ended at least! edit: and only 1 point off, rood x Semi 1 DNQs in my ranking: 2nd Trifoski (jumped up from 7th on my first listen for all that it matters!) 13th Lotunia 14th Sandénia 15th East Rukahavian 18th Freidland 19th Harmonica Mostly losing the middle then, almost all of my faves through but also the whole of my bottom 7 making it.

Bad luck Freidland not quite getting the comeback qualifier, reminded me a little of some of Charli xcx's older stuff.

Hooray for Danæviia *.* fruit supremacy coming through. Now just a prayer circle for Trifoski to get one of the last two slots but thinking that's probably not happening - them left along with Freidland, Kluminican Republic and Lookylion I believe?

Back to the DNQs for East Ruk indeed then aw but at least it wasn't last again... another one I ranked midtable, a solid MUNA-alike.
