I sort of submitted a song but the artist was taken already (as I half expected they would be). Nevermind, I'll look for something else at some point x The song I kind of wanted to send would have been very well known compared to the typical Bror song contest entry anyway so maybe it's for the best, curious to hear the song that has been sent by them (assuming it's not one of their couple of even more well known songs lol).

Never won a BJSC spinoff and also never won Unknown Pleasures which I've entered since the 10th edition or Club Bizarre/Bop Idol which I've entered every edition of. (Also entered all 3 editions of the short lived Movie Forum Song Contest and never came close to winning that one lol)

I have roped myself into taking part in a second contest on PopJustice (deadnaming sorry x) although it's only once every 2 months (There are 4 contests on there, the other one I've entered the last couple of editions is for non English language songs only and then the other two are both retro contests somewhat analogous to The Best Song Contest In The World... Ever! and Bop Idol, I still don't plan to bother with those ones x) I think uhsting's other 40 song contests are just on random Eurovision fansites but who knows.

I don't think I'd be able to join a Sunday one (ofc if other people want one go ahead x), but I might be able to do Tuesday this week Just got to be careful it doesn't create monstrosities like 'Bțatniki kă' #iykyk x Copy and pasting does work so that's at least one upside of the post-BBCode era!

YouTube playlists: Semi-Final 1 Semi-Final 2 ~ 'Pendulum' is only my second ever main contest entry that was released before 2000 (following µ-Ziq's 'Hasty Boom Alert'), I came across it back in January when I was trawling RateYourMusic for an entry for The Best Song Contest In The World... Ever! in the 'one word, one noun' edition, iirc I found it when searching for 'IDM' but I'm not sure that label really fits this particular song (certainly ambient and I also like the sound of 'toypop' which is listed as a secondary genre on the album). Obviously didn't send it there in the end but it's remained a song I've felt like going back to every now and then since so feels right to finally send it somewhere else. Apols to the long song haters (although the presence of Dobago's entry makes mine feel insignificant in comparison xx) but I've listened through this song in its full 14 and a half minute glory plenty of times and I never think it feels that long, it is quite minimalist but also gets very intricate~ and ~immersive. Hope it'll find some fans. Ideally enough to not be a third DNQ in a row please. x (This will be either the first time I qualify in a contest hosted by Skall or the first time I DNQ with a song over 6 minutes long, choose wisely! Funnily enough the last time I DNQed three times in a row also ran through a Skall hosted contest...) Thanks to Joseph for uploading the YouTube link I've used as I was too lazy to figure out how to upload it myself (there is another upload of it on YouTube but I didn't want to use that link as it's just on some random channel that could delete it at any moment). I paid £7.99 to secure the MP3 for that upload as I couldn't download the song separately on iTunes due to its length so had to buy the full album #dedication Again this month I think nearly all of the small number of songs I've heard already were from previously hearing them in PopJustice/Square contests. Of those 'Ambre' was easily my favourite so yes, a bit of modest early hype for Rd'Á, will see if any of the others grow on me. (There was another entry confirmed this month that I thought was a very interesting choice which I knew already but the country in question ended up switching to something else, curious to see if they may still send their original choice to a future contest!) Aside: Danny Ray and RAY being next to each other in semi 1 oh my

Honestly kinda shocked it's taken this long for Dev Lemons to show up in BJSC. I used to stan her YouTube channel but not watched it for a while. Her music is usually cool too so looking forward to hearing x

I jinxed it sorry. Villalobos coming in 2nd on this list and I settle for 14th. (Which is kind of neat actually because it is currently the only entry ever to have a run time of 14:xx oh my) Was wondering if it might be the longest song to not be the longest in its contest but not quite, forgot that TwerkNation28 and Marillion were in the same contest. What a pairing x (lest I provoke any further discourse, no I didn't send this song just because I wanted to be high on this list, but it's cool anyway)

Doctor B hasn't logged in for a couple of weeks, hope all is good and he is just busy observing weather and such x (we have also lost Dalisska for the first time since their comeback last year aw - but 4 returns this month, welcome back to East Rukahavian, Kylienips, Pagasa and Wholune x)
