(And in fact next contest will be further free points for them on this ranking as they were banned from BJSC 175 so that big lead could stand to increase even further!) FLJ become the 23rd different country to spend at least one month leading this metric, having previously peaked at #2 in the updates for BJSCs 48-50, 54-55 and 183. Also of note, this is the first time Terra Avium have ever placed in the rolling top 10! It's also a new peak for POPHub despite DNQing this month (although awks as they now face a ban for the next contest), while Mothertopia are at their peak of #14 for a third month in a row.

YTD update ~ Hendinia retake the lead ahead of 'all but set' Fljótavík as their latest top 10 success pushes them ahead of the latter with an auto-qualifier that did not set the scoreboard alight, though it's a close call with only 13 points between them. Bøtanikkä solidify their current hold on the bronze medal position, expanding their lead over 4th place from 8 points to 92. Said 4th place last month was Cheiron but a DNQ costs them their spot in the top 10, falling 4-12. Cor Lupus rise 2 places to take their position, leapfrogging Kluminican Republic who stay in 5th. Altyr Muunilinst are also up 2 to 6th, while last year's champs Neliönoir work themselves back into the top 10 up 13-7, as do 8 time EOY winners Aeroche who are up 14-8 despite not yet achieving a top 10 hit in any contest this year. Trifoski stay in 9th place and The Spodic Empire also rise 2 places into the last rung in the top 10. Both of the countries who had been looking to join the top 6 in double digits faltered in this contest though - we'll see if the same fate befalls Fljótavík who now move up to 7th on 9 in a row. The Spodic Empire further expand their current record to 7 in a row moving up to 8th, while Dalisska move up to 5 qualifiers in a row which matches their previous record in consecutive contests, previously achieved in BJSCs 23-27 and again in BJSCs 29-33 - of note, they did not enter BJSC 28 so these two previous runs of 5 in a row combine for their record streak in non-consecutive contests of 10. The bar to qualify for the top 10 on this list falls even further from 6 to just 4 (!), with a six-way tie for 10th place. Among those, Deandria expand their current record, Scotland 2 make it to 4 in a row for the first time after matching their record of 3 last month, and likewise for Juranabaijan whose current consecutive record now pulls even with their old record in non-consecutive contests (set in BJSCs 42 & 51-53). Below the top 10, Freidland and Lentyll expand both of their current records to 3, while East Rukahavian also make it to 3 in a row to match their consecutive record, previously achieved in BJSCs 58-60 and again in BJSCs 124-126 (as well as non-consecutively in BJSCs 84 & 86-87 - although their non-consecutive record, like Dalisska's, remains unbeaten as they pulled off 5 qualifying entries in a row adding BJSCs 70-71 after their 58-60 run with them having not entered BJSCs 61-69). Zephyra Continuum match their 'record' of 1 as they pick up a second qualifier after previously making it in BJSC 181; writing this after the final results we do now know that they're guaranteed to make it 2 in a row with an auto-qualifier coming up in the next contest! And finally Ennea also make it onto the list for the first time after DNQing in each of their previous 3 contests.

Was a very easy 12 for me but a bit more difficult to rank beyond that, there were 17 songs I'd have been happy to vote for overall so just over half, good going x Really no idea what I'd predict to win tbh. My spreadsheet all matches up (aside, sorry I've not got around to posting the Q streak update again this month, will still get it belatedly posted along with a new YTD update hopefully soon x) Yay for Pagasa actually getting that 2nd place finish this time and not deducting themselves out of it again ~ 'Glassman' was another great entry from Model/Actriz, I do personally like it a bit less than both 'Mosquito' and 'Cinderella' and I am rather shocked it's done even better than the latter (which I always thought sounded like a potential crossover hit whereas this one feels like a return to a more niche sound) but not complaining! I think at this point I might have to consider them a rare shadowbanned alt act xx There was only one other song in the top 10 I voted for and even that was one that only jumped in after my final relisten, excellent to see Ennea opening their final account with a top 10 hit after the triple DNQ false start, both them and Zephyra Continuum ultimately achieving a first top 10 rather quickly. There were only 13 songs that I didn't mention as at least a commiseration and 9 of those finished in the top 15 so I'm definitely not in tune this month haha - I am glad Emei was one of the bigger pop hits though, I do sometimes find this kind of over the top theatrical pop a bit cringe but she sells this song quite well! Also yass at Elëdan being top 15 even though I did have some hope of it being a niche carried top 10 hit like KMRU. More good stuff in the lower end of the top 20 as well from Danæviia, Utopia and Kathaldazia (sorry to the latter being the one just squeezed out of my votes by Ennea at the last minute oops!), most of the instrumental entries ending up packed together in the teens, shame Freidland finished a little way off - it's cool that they've qualified consistently recently but hope one of their entries will be a bigger hit soon! Had no idea what to expect for my 18 from Trifoski, it was a bit of a slow burner for me having settled for silver in the semi, so 25th is not too bad I suppose. Richard's voice reminds me a lot of Jonathan Higgs from Everything Everything and was very much captivated by the prose lyrics on this one. Also an ok result in the end for Pestolia and glad Scotland 2 at least picked up a bit after being in last place for a while, suppose a solo Bladee song was never likely to do near as well as his Evian Christ feature did. Dobago, Flynnonda and Deandria all underrated here too and Land of DW coming last is just outrageous after TEMMIS came 2nd before!! Admittedly did think this was a rather different sounding song but I thought it'd still have much stronger appeal than that. Clearly getting my answer that swapping BRÄLLE out for AKRIILA before was the wrong call haha but good that I did bring him out for his moment eventually after all - should have trusted my instincts that if I was still wanting to go back to it after 6 months then it must have something to it, very happy to get a third consecutive top 20 here (albeit still searching for a top 10 for the year), actually the first time I've managed that since Hazel English/Da Vosk Docta/Nur Jaber in BJSCs 148-150! I do have an entry planned for next month already this time and it'll contrast quite starkly, going from a very minimalist song to a very maximalist one - and as I already teased on SyncTube I'll be betraying all of my deeply held morals by sending a French language song (unless I save myself from that fate by finding something else I want to send more in the meantime but I doubt it). Immediately I see Aeroche got 22 points from FARC and POPHub combined in the semi so that alone will account for some of the regression from the semi - it's so odd to see Aeroche having gone so long without a top 10 hit though (still only 7 contests that is lol but relatively speaking), definitely thought this one would get them back there! Me being only 6 points off winning the semi *_* I did think it was the more favourable draw for my song but still definitely did not feel that safe!

Oh wow Charlotte just rocketed ahead at the end there. Well congrats Till on a first win so soon into your discography! We do always like to see new winners ~ (unfortunately this is my least favourite winner for quite a while oops but it is what it is, at least I had my moment of supporting the winner last month hehe). What a bounce back from getting only one vote in the semi-final last month looking forward to seeing what you'll bring for an AQ, should have saved Darkrad for this moment I fear x Shall comment on the rest a bit later after we have found an offshore location that allows us to operate our illicit parallel spreadsheet x
