It’s bright and breezy enough - where it fits within today’s music I’m not sure. I’ve listened a few times now and it’s definitely growing. My usual pattern with Natalie’s music is I always love the deeper cuts within the album tracks over the single releases. Looking forward to the album.

I cannot believe Jade’s ‘Fantasy’ is out of the top 100 on week two! What goes on? It’s brilliant.

Houdini sounds like a kids nursery rhyme to me or a repetitive video game.

Build It Better was the wrong choice to lead this era. I can see why they went that route (safe pop ditty) but it’s actually the weakest track on the album in my opinion and fundamentally isn’t a typical Natalie track (not edgy or lyrically clever enough and not her core audience). I would have liked to have seen: 1st: What it Feels Like 2nd: Dive to the Deep 3rd: On My Way 4th: When You Love Too Much 5th: Not Sorry

This is a fantastic album. My favourite since WLI. I often find with Natalie’s albums that I fall in love with the non single tracks and the same is true here (although some of them may become singles), but I’m in love with the sublime Dive to the Deep, Invisible Things and When You Love Too Much. The whole album flows from beginning to end. Stunning! I’m an Apple Music subscriber and play the album on repeat but I’ve also bought a CD because unless there’s decent numbers we won’t get the output of new music! If you can purchase a CD/Vinyl folks 😋

Such a shame. This is a fantastic album with several standout tracks (superior to the more radio friendly songs she’s released as singles this far). The whole album ties together. ‘Dive to the Deep’ is about as Sophisticated a pop song as you’ll hear this year. Hoping she hangs on for a too 10. One of my favourite albums this year…

It’s a bonafide classic that people still love today but there have been many incarnations of varying listenability and the Guetta track is crap. They should’ve gone with either ‘Thinking About You’ or ‘Someone For Me’ (both from Houston’s debut album and both uptempo) but would’ve sounded like something new. That’s why Higher Love was a success as it wasn’t a well know track of hers (only ever released in Japan). Let’s see how well this is received.

This is a nice surprise- it’s improved on the original. Hope this is a hit!

While I’m a huge Kylie fan this just isn’t the standard I’d expect for a lead single from a DISCO album. I hope it doesn’t affect the whole era and more do I hope there are some true disco tracks to come.

I’m surprised at the underperformance so far of Dua Lipa’s ‘Hallucinate’ - it’s a total banger and I expected it to be top 10 by now. I can only hypothesise that too many singles in the chart at once is detracting from Hallucinate’s focus. Any thoughts from others what’s going on?

Hopefully ‘Hallucinate’ by Dua Lipa will hit high. It’s a standout track on Future Nostalgia

Are the ACR numbers counted as actual for the purposes of a songs sales? For example a song on ACR that sells 10,500 only has 5,250 counted as sales in the top 100. But are the actual Sales units 10,500 counted as the real overall sales stats for the song in its own right? Sorry if that sounds complicated.
