All X Factor live performances to be 'available for download
It'd be good if it meant something like Ruth Lorenzo's "Purple Rain" being #1 though.

Predict: Kylie Minogue - All The Lovers
I think it depends on if she manages to bag a big performance slot somewhere. I don't know if it'll still be running but if she performs on BGT or another big show she will definitely be #1, if not I think #3.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE FOR XMAS NUMBER 1.
But surely they have to show the Xmas #1 regardless of who it is?!

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE FOR XMAS NUMBER 1.
Will they really show RATM on Xmas TOTP if they are #1? I know Joe has recorded his performance, they obviously thought he was a dead cert!

Chart Question: Who credits who on Dizzee Rascal's Holiday
I usually go on what it says on the cover so would presume it's just "Dizzee Rascal - Holiday". Does the insert or CD suggest any different?

Agnes - Release Me
Deserves to be #1 but knowing this country's poor taste it'll probably manage Top 20 at best.

Predict: Katy Perry - Waking Up in Vegas
AWFUL SONG. It'll be lucky to make the Top 30.

UK Christmas #1s (Singles)
Steve DID release in the Christmas week but was beaten by Band Aid, if I remember rightly he sold about 150k? He then hit #1 the week after but with a lot less sales!

UK Christmas #1s (Singles)
In terms of Christmas week sales it's the 4th biggest of the decade but overall I'd say the majority of the others outsold Leon!

Big Acts Failing Expriencing 'Flop' Singles
If you look at artists who were big in the 70s and 80s their chart runs are often all over the place, times are just heading back that way where being a big name with a successful chart performance doesn't automatically guarantee you a Top 10 single like it did 5-10 years ago.

Cliff's Musical History Bid
Pop star Sir Cliff Richard has said he will never be a fan of downloaded music because the quality "is not the same" as the "unbeatable" sound from CDs. "I like putting six CDs in the machine and playing them for two or three days," the 67-year-old said. "The 12" vinyl album was the best because you could read [the sleeve] without getting a magnifying glass." Sir Cliff said "it would be nice" if he topped the chart this weekend - giving him number ones across six decades. His single, Thank You For a Lifetime, is at number three on the provisional midweek sales chart, with Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl remaining the UK's top-seller. I like the human aspect of music. It's all getting a little bit too technical now, too easy; you don't do anything now Sir Cliff Richard Asked if he was confident of reaching first place by Sunday, he replied: "I can't say I'm confident because how can you be confident about anything any more? "It'd be nice to be number one but nobody's going to catch me now. "I've had number ones in five decades. Who's going to do that? "First of all, they've got to be around for five decades. Many of them barely make five years." 'No million-sellers' However, being number one in 2008 "did not have the same cachet" as topping the chart at the start of his career, admitted Sir Cliff, whose first number one was Living Doll in 1959. Katy Perry Katy Perry has been number one for five weeks with I Kissed a Girl "In those days, when you released a single, it was potentially a million-seller. That's completely out of the question now, because people just don't buy singles. "I suppose it's feasible they might have a million downloads, but as for me, I'm never going to go to downloads." It was "very hard to beat" a CD, Sir Cliff told the BBC News website. "I like the human aspect of music. It's all getting a little bit too technical now, too easy; you don't do anything now. Although there are good points to downloads he speaks a lot of sense from a music lover's point of view but sadly none of us can stand in the way of progress!

Predict Duffy - Warwick Avenue
I would love it to be #1 but I don't think it has the same mass appeal as "Mercy"? I'll guess #4.
