The Voice 4.3 X Factor 2.3 LOL. Granted, X Factor was a bit of an odd one last night but still... Shame about Emily Owens, I'm really enjoying it so far!
  3. Did you enjoy? :) What time did she finish?

TAYLOR’S SWIFT RESPONSE: Indications are that Taylor Swift’s Big Machine album, Red, officially available today, has a million copies in its sight, based on early retail reads. Can the country-pop diva actually get there? If she does, it will be the first time in a decade that an artist has had consecutive million-selling debut weeks, since the days of Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and Eminem. Swift currently boasts approximately half of the iTunes top singles, due to the fact the online retailer's “Complete My Album” function was down for the first 15 hours that the album was available, which might account for the large number of track sales as consumers may have opted to buy the songs a la carte. The Target version of the album contains six additional songs, three live and three new studio tracks. Stay tuned as we gather more information. (10/22p) How exciting!! Here's a list of highest first week sales: 1. *NSYNC, No Strings Attached, 2,416,000. 2. *NSYNC, Celebrity, 1,880,000. 3. Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP, 1,760,000. 4. Backstreet Boys, Black & Blue, 1,591,000. 5. Eminem, The Eminem Show, 1,322,000. 6. Britney Spears, Oops!...I Did It Again, 1,319,000. 7. The Beatles, 1, 1,259,000. 8. 50 Cent, The Massacre, 1,141,000. 9. Backstreet Boys, Millennium, 1,134,000. 10. Usher, Confessions, 1,096,000. 11. Garth Brooks, Double Live, 1,085,000. 12. Whitney Houston/Soundtrack, The Bodyguard, 1,061,000. 13. Limp Bizkit, Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water, 1,055,000. 14. Taylor Swift, Speak Now, 1,047,000. 15. Norah Jones, Feels Like Home, 1,022,000. 16. Lil Wayne, Tha Carter III, 1,006,000.

    Pretty much my thoughts too.
  7. If This Was A Movie AKA her best song EVA entered at #10. 'Ours' peaked at #13. For a country artist her chart history is really quite something. http://www.billboard.com/artist/taylor-swi...-history/766101
  8. Some very pleasant surprises in there! :) Not happy with her timings at all though. Is anyone going to any shows between now and Saturday? It's going to be impossible getting back to Birmingham city centre on the trains at like, midnight.
  9. LOL same in Manchester. In fact, I don't think anything they did went down well the crowd didn't give a crap. Which isn't entirely unusual for a support act but as they were 'special guests' and have had a #1 single and OK success on the singles front, I thought there would be some people in the crowd who gave a crap but I'm pretty sure that literally nobody did! Oh no they're leaving Kelly completely? I saw they have their own album but I thought they'd be doing that on the side.
  10. Looks like it. Probably until Ke$ha / Rihanna overtakes which is ages away yet. If Ke$ha times her video release correctly (and it's decent) looks like she'll be get another Hot 100 #1 :D

    Deluxe edition has leaked <3
  13. I voted Singapore <3
  14. Oh damnit I thought I'd be going to one of the O2 dates but I'm seeing Pam Ann in Manchester on Friday 1st March and won't be able to get to London on the Saturday grr. All the other dates are pretty bad for people who work :( *sigh*
  15. I've watched that performance back and it looks like she was going to mime but the backup track failed for whatever reason, and then someone in her ear told her during the chorus about the problems and she started to sing during the second half of that chorus.

I'm waiting until the iTunes+ leaks or CD arrives just because I can't be bothered to have to download it a second time. But sounds like she's going to have a 4th amazing album in a row :D
  17. ^ Just go on iTunes, and change your store to Australia. You'll easily find it.
  18. That is an awful video with an extremely low budget. Oh dear. RIP Melanie Amaro's career. DOA!
  19. Cheryl Cole 3 minutes ago via WhoSay Broadcast I really dn't feel upset abt the tec issues during my performance and chat.. I just hope every1 commenting on it has done their part 4 the cause What happened?
  20. Yeah they always recorded vocals separately. Nadine said she was also the first to record the tracks as well.
  21. 'cos she looks rough as f***, basically. She looks to me like an alcoholic in her mid 40s who had a really bad face lift. Especially when put together with the other 4 who still look naturally youthful. Lol at her having the orange lights and shadows all over her during her solo. Obviously there for a reason... But yes. I quite like the video and it's made me appreciate the song a lot more. I don't understand why there was only the one scene of them together, and even then they weren't showing "togetherness" until the end which is strange considering it's a reunion video...
  22. How much are tickets? That's not really an exclusive presale... There's still the O2 priority and live nation presales. American Express will probably have one as well.
  23. The way it was shot reminds me a lot of the video for Ego. Absolutely love this video except the scene of them running, in which Lady Gaga's comments are definitely correct!

Holy cow!! Taylor Swift makes a top 10 entrance for a third straight week with a preview track from her fourth album, "Red," due Oct. 22, as "I Knew You Were Trouble" blasts in at No. 3. The song ties "Mine" (Aug. 21, 2010) for her second-highest launch, trailing only "Today Was a Fairytale," which began at No. 2 the week of Feb. 6, 2010. "Trouble" begins atop Digital Songs with 416,000, Swift's second-best sales week; she sold more in a frame the week of Sept. 1 when "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" opened at No. 1 on Digital Songs (and rocketed 72-1 on the Hot 100) with 623,000, the best-ever sum for a song by a woman. "Never" joins "Trouble" in the Hot 100's top five, holding at No. 5 (below fun.'s "Some Nights," which maintains its No. 4 rank), granting Swift two titles in the top five simultaneously for the first time. In its 10th week on the Hot 100, "Never" debuts at last on On-Demand Songs (No. 23) following its first full week of streaming availability. (It was released to streaming services on Oct. 2.) The song registered 91% of its 457,000 on-demand streams via Spotify, with Cricket, Rdio, Rhapsody and Slacker also contributing to its total. "Never" spent three weeks atop the Hot 100 last month without the benefit of streaming points. (Due to its pure pop, even dubstep-leaning, sound, "Trouble" does not appear on the newly-revamped Country Songs chart, which, as of last week, now blends airplay, sales and streaming data; it's also not being promoted to country radio. "Never" spends a second week atop the tally).

I'm very pleasantly surprised by this album. After one listen there weren't any stand out tracks for me, aside from Glassheart but that's probably because I was already familiar with it but I really enjoyed every song and it flows brilliantly :)
