Who is this Melanie Amaro impersonator? Why does she look so different on both covers, it's unnerving. I do feel sorry for her. These songs are "OK" but they're nothing major. It seems they weren't quite sure which direction to take her, which is the problem with shows like this I guess as you don't have a lot of time to create the record and there's little to no natural progression, just being bounced between various producers...

Even though Triumphant hasn't gone for ads yet, I thought it would get a little more airplay than this! Katy Perry due to get another airplay #1 next week by the looks of things :)

Britney is in a unique position though in this regards. Jlo/Xtina/Maria all came from varying degrees of flop eras. Although Britney's album reached #1 in the States, it didn't have a great chart life but single wise the Femme Fatale era was arguably her most successful yet. Radio in particular had never been so receptive to Britney before.

I prefer the Pulse Club Mix over the Vintage Throwback Remix for sure. I wonder why she didn't put those verses into the main version though? I've only just realised that, ad libs aside, she only sings the chorus and the middle 8!
