If they made it download only it would sell less, this way more money is donated. Even £1 per CD is better than nothing from no cds. And of course £1 is more than the cost of the download...

No, he won't. You've got to pay the factory that printed the CDs The factory that made the CD cases The graphic designer who did the artwork The company that delivered the cds from the factories around the UK The check out worker who sold you the CD etc. None of these people agreed to give to charity and waive their respective fees (if applicable) Simon is giving all the profit from charity, i.e. once all the costs have been paid for, what's left (at least £1 from each cd) will be given to Haiti The reason why it says "at least" comes down to economies of scale, as more are sold and produced the costs go down and profit goes up, hence more can be donated. Simon will not make any money, he doesn't need more money and he'd be a total idiot to do so.

There's not enough lines for all of JLS, Westlife and Take That, let alone adding Girls Aloud in there! The only way to fit them all in is for each one to sing a single word

The line Cheryl sings is well within her range, check her out singing with Snow Patrol.

Cheryl sings after Mariah Mariah sings 'Dont let yourself go, cause everybody cries and everybody hurts' Cheryl then sings "somtimes...sometimes everything is wrong' Mika then sings the line after cheryl, followed by buble Joe just does the "hold on" while Alex shares a line with James Morrison

Who is singing what, despite the pictures it seems only two of JLS are singing something, same with Take That and Westlife. Joe gets to do backing vocals.. Leona Lewis When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone, Rod Stewart When you’re sure you’ve had enough of this life, well hang on Mariah Carey Don’t let yourself go, ‘cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes Cheryl Cole Sometimes everything is wrong. Mika Now it’s time to sing along Michael Buble When your day is night alone, Joe McElderry (hold on, hold on) Miley Cyrus If you feel like letting go James Blunt If you think you’ve had too much of this, well hang on.. Gary Barlow ‘Cause everybody hurts.. Mark Owen Take Comfort in your friends Jon Bon Jovi Don’t throw your hand James Morrison Don’t throw your hand Alexandra Burke and James Morrison If you feel like you’re alone, no, no, no, you are not alone Susan Boyle If you’re on your own in this life, the days and nights are long, Aston Merrygold When you think you’ve had too much of this life to Marvin Humes hang on Shayne Filan Well, everybody hurts sometimes, Mark Feehily Everybody cries Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams And everybody hurts sometimes (Song then shared between Robbie & Kylie)
  16. It would've done better if it was more organsied really, they have over 9,000 people so even if half bought a copy it'd enter the top 75. The problem is the group is too big for the admins to contact everyone via email, so only those who remembered the date are buying...

    Parachute up to #85

I don't think anyone expects/ed it to work, I've downloaded it but I know it's not got a hope in hell of going top 10. Still, it could possibly, just, maybe, scrape into the top 40 depending if it keeps up. Although I expect it'll get to about #60-75 at very very best

Syco (Simon's label) gets first dibs on the final 12, and signs a contract with all of the final 4 If Syco don't wan them then other Sony labels like Epic and RCA are allowed to take what they want. Any other labels like UMG need to wait until after the tour.
