I think Leona and Cheryl are confirmed because they've actually already recorded their bits, so whatever happens they'll be on it. If they say other stars who have said they want to be on it, but don't mange to record for it, then it'll make them look a bit silly - so we could see anyone...

I really don't see how this could work in two days. Half the people mentioned are currently in different parts of the world, even Cheryl is now in Germany until the middle of next week promoting FFTL. I'd guess they could get them to record a bit, send it all to one location and stitch it all together, but I can imagine the result from so many different singers would be an awful mess, although it could be awesome perhaps? I'm interested to see what comes out of this...
  9. Well she is recording with Ryan Tedder and One Republic for new tracks for the US, so I don't think 3 words will be released there as the lead single anymore.
  10. Nah, she's at the NTAs tonight so she's not leaving the UK just yet!

They CO-wrote 9 of the songs, you mean. They don't have full/solo writing credits And NONE of them are released as singles which says quite a bit, at least Cheryl had the 'courage' to release the awful 3 words
  12. Nice to see it holding rather steady She's in Germany from Jan 23-27th

It was "only" watched by 5.5 million, it's no X Factor (15m) and I expect quite a few already had the track either on the album or download I think it's going to go top 5 by Sunday
  20. ah ok, pretty sure that's not the official chart according to the official top 10, http://www.fimi.it/classifiche_digital.php, last week BEP were #2 while your one says 'ELISA & GIULIANO SANGIORGI - TI VORREI SOLLEVARE' was and that's a different chart to http://acharts.us/italy_singles_top_50/2010/02 as well I think we need to wait until next week where she *should*, fingers crossed, enter the official top 10 on the FIMI site
  21. have a link for that? (not that I don't believe you, need a soruce to update her wikipedia page)
  22. no idea, there's a thread in the international chart forum which is updated on friday by the looks of things here are the top 20 - but it's not been updated in a while - http://italiancharts.com/weekchart.asp?cat=s here is the official top 10, which says it's from 04/01-10/10 - http://www.fimi.it/classifiche_digital.php
  23. nice to see it picking up in spain!
  24. the performance vote is online! opens from jan 18th-feb 5th best british single is voted by phone on the night
  25. I'm thought that to be eligible you have to have released a studio album in the last year, hence I can't see GA getting nominated for anything else other than their performance Cheryl HAS to be nominated for Best British Single, it is the biggest selling British Single of 2009 and it had lots of airplay, they can't ignore it. I can't see her being nominated for either best female or best album, because neither her or the album where near good enough (I'm a fan, but it was quite clearly a rushed and lazy effort) Also, would Cheryl be considered as "best female" or "best newcomer"? Technically this is her first solo album? As for performances, there's little chance of GA being there unless they win - and that's highly unlikely up againast Jackson and the Spice Girls Cheryl, perhaps, will perform FFTL like GA did with The Promise, however I can imagine the record company wanting to put FFTL to bed as it already overshadowed 3 words
