Didn't perform anything, do we know whether they're performing it on the TOTP New years episode? I honestly think if they fail to go top 10 they could be in trouble. At least when Girls Aloud failed with Untouchable they had the excuse of little TV promotion as they were on tour and a double platinum selling album already. By rights the saturdays SHOULD easily crack the top 10 - it's released on a quiet week, their album has sold next to nothing and they've done plenty of promo (Switch, GMTV, Alan Car, live lounge, etc). It's been shoved down on iTunes again with all the gift card vouchers, Fight For This Love, Bad Boys, Everybody in love, Watcha Say, Black Eyed Peas all leap frogging them - and some of those like Cheryl's have 3 versions in the top 100 now. It's a great tune and should be at least top 3 but I hope it at least goes top 10. If it doesn't I'm not sure what's wrong with them to be honest

Why is Ke$ha so high? Did I miss a perfomance or clip of her on TOTP?

To be honest that does seem quite true, all of the positive comments I've read about it start with "I don't like Cheryl but.." or "I don't like Girls Aloud songs but...". Her album is pretty different to all of what GA have put out and so it's actually not too surprising her fans aren't too keen. I now wonder what goodies Nadine will release!

Well obviously some people like it, plus she is the public eye so much and has very loyal fans anything she released would probably do well. I personally don't mind it too much, but reading comments on here, DigitalSpy and GAM and most seem to loathe the track. The critics gave it quite good reviews mind

Feel a bit sorry for Cheryl and 3 words, she's said in every interview how it's her favourite song and yet no one seems to like it. Even on GAM most of her fans don't like it and can't wait until its release is over with

But the campaign hasn't really finished, lots on Facebook are still encouraging others to buy it so Joe doesn't get to #1 this week
  18. I think that would be good but they'd have to be given different songs like in Popstars, having 3 versions of The Climb in the charts would be too much! I think that would work better anyway, SOTU for Girls Aloud was a brilliant song and suited the group perfectly. If they gave the two finalists a good song that suits them then it'd make the final much better
  19. An Xmas day final would be far too hard to organise IMO. Also, aren't there laws saying that employees can't be forced to work xmas day as well? They're unlikely to move the show, the fact the winner gets/tries to get xmas #1 is more or less a coincidence really. The show is on in the autmn because more people watch TV at that time as the days get shorter, more people buy music (hence why new singles and albums are released) and of course in the run up to christmas there are plenty of advertisements to be sold. The other problem with moving it is the judges' other work. Simon judges Britain's Got Talent and auditions for that start in January. He's also got American Idol but not sure how that works to be honest Dannii judges Australia's Got Talent (although rumours are its been axed) Cheryl is usually on tour with Girls Aloud from late March-Early June, admittedly this is not likely to be a problem for 2010 - although Nadine did say another GA tour is planned.
